Beautiful architecture. Interesting exhibitions. We saw Alfredo Jaar and a fashion exhibition. But were very good.

“Not so much”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

It's true we went at a bad time as they were changing out one or two exhibits. They even gave us a discount but we didn't see one single thing worth seeing. The exhibits were terrible. 2 sets of Bad photos, and a collection of clothing that was suppose to be fashion that was just embarrassing. I can sew better than the construction of most of the garments on display and most of the designs were unwearable like a skirt with a big circle on it surrounding the crotch. Yuck.
The Marilyn Monroe exhibit had promise but needed more. I was really looking forward to seeing a lot of student work and was really disappointed.

“Part of a large SCAD complex”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2014

I love the way the Savannah College of Arts & Design has taken old, historic buildings and turned them into college facilities -residence halls, cafeterias, museums, art exhibitions, admission centers, classrooms, store for selling student works of art, etc. This truly gives the students a life laboratory in which to practice and blend their skills and learning. The 70+ buildings SCAD has repurposed is a great partnership between an educational institution and the city - great foresight! It was wonderful to see students scurrying all around the city going to class.

“Must see!!”

Wonderful place to see the results of talented students at SCAD. All kinds of mediums. I wish I had a room to put every single piece of art I saw because it would be hard to choose which piece to buy!!

“Worth it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 March 2014

This was a great little museum that we went to and we're glad that we did. The artwork is all amazing and there were a couple displays in particular that really wowed us. It is all so unique and so great to see the artwork of students who work so hard on display. This was a great stop with a lot of cool things and if you go, you must check out the display with the Buddha and the tree. You'll know it when you see it!
