Now when it comes to watching a ball game there is nothing like sitting in an old style stadium, watching minor league players (real players that is) drinking inexpensive beers, and eating very good inexpensive food. What a treat!!! What a feeling!!!
What a piece of history that needs preservation and perpetuation. These venues are irreplaceable, they need to stay. Unfortunately there is a "brain trust" in Savannah that wants to do away with this wonderful stadium and move the entire venue down to the waterfront. Once again, someone with a vision of grandeur has a very bad idea. Grayson stadium is scaled to the community and serves it well. It is beautiful, comfortable and a very worthwhile experience.
