We walked to this park after we had lunch. I is beautiful with all the Live Oak and Magnolia trees. Benches to sit for awhile. It was a Saturday and was not very crowded. There are several of these areas in this 2 mile radius which provide shade and comfort to rest awhile.

Large park on the DOT route but we walked from our B&B. Nice assortment of venders who were very friendly. Small but nice market and fun watching all the runners, bikers, walkers, and people just enjoying the green space. Small market and deli across the street to get stuff for impromptu picnic

The fountain provides relief from the heat. Children have been seen getting wet in one of the smaller fountains in the back. It's a favorite place for free concerts year round as well as picnics and other community events. There is a Starbucks Cafe inside & restrooms. Also a hat collection to view. All free, unless you want to eat or drink.

the main fountain in the center is worth the trip walk on its own and the rest of the park is really nice

The beauty of that fountain can't really be captured in a photo. You need to see it. The park is beautiful and right in the center of lots to see and do.
