On a 102 degree Savannah home we decided to tour this Savannah gem I had seen earlier while touring Orleans Square. Our docent was a very nice woman of some years who showed us around a house she obviously cherished. The house has been lovingly restored and much of the furniture is period to the house or collected by the late owner. The house serves as the headquarters of the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of Georgia and a bit more information on this organization might have been interesting. The garden is more of a venue for events than much of a garden.
