Prepare yourself for a Southern Mama's, everything homemade, Sunday cooking: The table will be set loaded up with sides when you walk through the door (The day we came it was corn pudding, baked beans, field peas, sweat potato casserole, cheesy potatoes, macaroni and cheese, squash, rutabagas, green beans, white beans, peas and noodles, collard greens, jambalaya, cabbage, pickled cucumber, macaroni salad, potato salad, biscuits and cornbread...) and then the meats of bbq pork, beef pot roast, and FRIED CHICKEN is the star here. Don't be shy...you can ask for more of anything you run out of, too. Dessert was Banana pudding and Peach Melba. Laughter is inevitable as all are challenged to finish the food on the table.
Yes, you will clear your plate for Mama!
Yes, it is a one stall co-ed bathroom just like your Momma's house (complete with can of spray - ha!)
