Right on the river front, the hotel is clean, modern, and well-appointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious, and river front rooms have a nice view. Baths are big and modern too.

Room Tip: River front room have a great view and might be quieter.

We've stayed at a few of the nicer hotels in Savannah - the Andaz, Bohemian, and Mansion on Forsyth so we were excited to try this new hotel. For the higher price tag, we were hoping for similar service and were disappointed. The rooms do not have fridges or mini-bars. There is also no breakfast option and a limited menu upstairs at TopDeck. Despite having many staff members present, no one opened doors or greeted us upon entering either which is common to the other hotels. It was a great room and had a wonderful view, but if they want to compete with their neighbors then they just need to kick it up a notch.

Wonderful hotel and a great staff, only concern is on the weekends lots of partying at the bar upstairs which may or may not be your thing
Easy to get to the river walk and to trolleys to see savannah. Concierge was very helpful getting us to places and some nice discounts as well

Clean, crisp and friendly. All facets of our stay were considered to be top-notch by all of my family members. The only downside was a USCG vessel docked on the river that had his spotlight shining in our room all night.

Room Tip: River facing room.

Needed a quick getaway and decided to take a trip to Savannah, GA searched on kayak for a hotel and found the Cotton Sail. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. We had a room overlooking the Savannah river it was awesome, can't wait to go back and visit once all the renovations are completed.

PROS: located right on the river (although oddly enough did not hear a lot of noise from the businesses below on River Street), extremely clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff.

CONS: room was a little small (but ok for two people), could hear water running from a room close by whenever they took a shower, entrance to hotel was hard to find. They only have valet parking. You pull into the small driveway which appears to be a tiny parking lot and have to get out and walk up to valet to let them know you are there for the hotel because there are other businesses there.

Overall, it was a beautiful hotel and I loved that it was right on the River and in the middle of everything. It was also reasonably priced compared to some of the other river view hotels. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

Not only beautiful and clean rooms, but quiet. Great location. I actually was able to sleep in until my bladder woke me up after 8am... That never happens in a hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and a great value for the price. Great views of the river.
