“3 meals=awesome!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 December 2013 via mobile

While staying at the DoubleTree we ate at the bistro each day for breakfast, once for lunch, and once for dinner. Breakfast was awesome with a good offering of southern favorites, fresh baked goods and good quality foods. The lunch buffet had to be the BEST deal on the river. 9.95 for a souther buffet with amazing selections and a fresh salad bar. Dinner was equally as nice with a Romantic feel even though it's in a hotel.

“I'll give it another try”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 November 2013

We arrived about 12:30 p.m. and were the only ones in the restaurant. But service was very very slow. And they mixed up my order; I ordered a spinach salad and received their garden salad, which was ok. No bread or crackers were offered to go with the salad. They reason I'll give it another try is because the other girls enjoyed their meals.

“Good food and service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 September 2013

The restaurant offers a nice selection of southern dishes and the prices are very competitive with other places in the area. The staff is very friendly, responsive and attentive. Atmosphere is OK but nothing extra special.

“Great Southern Breakfast, nice staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2013

This little restaurant is located inside the Doubletree hotel on Bay Street. The staff was amazingly nice constantly checking in on us to be sure all was well. The Southern Breakfast is a full breakfast - with grits and bacon and eggs and sausage etc. They will also cook to order omelets or French toast etc as part of that. The lunch and dinner menus are more limited but what they offered was good. It was clean and bright.

“Dinner”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 April 2013

Srevice was quick & efficient. We tried ordering a bottle of wine, the waitress returned, out of that wine, chose another white wine, stated that was warm & place it in some ice. Prices on the web site are not as the inhouse menu.. $13.95 for a hamberger & fries ( fresh cut but cold & soggy ). Hamburger was overdone Some items where not on the menu at the restaurant. . I also find it hard to belive it was 1/2 lb precooked either. Wife had fish taco's, they tasted OK but at $17.00 not worth it. Will not be back.
