Stayed here for 4 nights including New Year's Eve and New Year's day. Very quiet hotel. No restaurant. Average free breakfast but I'm still not sure about those scrambled eggs (if that's what they were). Room was average, king-size bed was on the soft side. Hotel is about 4 blocks from the City Market which is about half-way between the hotel and River Street. We were easily able to walk to everything we wanted to get to on Bay and River Street.

The hotel is also just a few short blocks away from the tour bus parking lot, the Savannah Visitor's Center, and the Savannah History Museum. We had a good time on the Orange and Green Old Town Trolley tour where you can get on and off at the 15 stops they have. The drivers all have different styles so your mileage may vary but they all seemed to be fairly knowledgeable.

We had great food at: The Olde Pink House, Belford's, The Lady and Sons, Barracuda Bob's, and the Boar's Head. Also had good beer at Moon River Brewing and enjoyed the beer and beer garden at B&D Burgers.

We only paid $5/day to park our car but we heard it's going up to $20 or $25/day soon so be prepared.

This hotel is very nice. Staff is warm and helpful. Spacecious lobby with areas to gather at any time of day or night. Rooms are well taken care of and very clean. Access to trolley tours and historic district is simple. Wi-fi was very stable and always available.

Wonderful hotel in the historic district of Savannah, SC. Good value, friendly and convenient walking to many sights and quality restaurants. Trolley tour a must and convenient starting point also to the hotel.

For a quick girls trip to Savannah, this was a great hotel. The location was nice, only a couple of blocks from shopping and historic sites. We parked at the hotel and just walked everywhere. The continental breakfast was very good, especially the waffles. My only advice is to try to get a room away from the stairs. Guests go in and out at all hours and the door seems to slam every time.
