Knowing that Savannah is famous for its charm and hospitality, we were expecting out stay at The Olde Savannah Inn to be a pleasant one, but what we experienced there far exceeded our expectations. Our room was fantastic, the breakfasts were fabulous, and above all, the innkeeper, Kathleen Dupuis, was dedicated to making every moment of our stay an utterly enjoyable one. She even went so far as to prepare a wonderful picnic lunch for us on an excursion to Tybee Island that she arranged for us -- in a classic red 1960 Cadillac Convertible -- all for a quite reasonable price. There's no question where we'll stay next time we're in Savannah.

The Olde Savannah Inn, and it's innkeeper, Kathleen, made our stay in Savannah one of our best U.S. vacations. My husband and I arrived to Kathleens warm welcome, and we felt instantly at home.

The Inn itself is beyond charming. Kathleen has taken great care in appointing it with lovely furnishings, beautiful artwork and many thoughtful ammenities such as robes and slippers for the use of each guest.

We spent four nights at the Old Savannah Inn, in the Versaille Court, which surpassed our expectations. The bed was very comfortable with exquisite sheets and coverlets. There was a charming setee, lovely writing desk, and refurbished fire place (which we did not use as it was sweltering outside). Inside, however, was cool and pleasant with air conditioning. The bathroom suite was beyond amazing, with two clawfoot tubs and a third jetted tub set amonst elegent columns.

Each morning we awoke to the most tantilizing smells wafting up the staircase from the kitchen below. Kathleen is an excellent cook and she supplied us with wonderful, gourmet breakfasts at the start of each day that were so large we didn't require lunch most days.

Kathleen is very committed to providing an exceptional value to her guests, along with excellent service. Her average room rate is actually $320, and you should call to see if she is offering any specials, and even if you have to pay full price, we felt it was worth every penny. In addition to the amazing breakfast, we enjoyed sipping a glass of wine with light hors 'd orves and visiting with other guests each evening. Our visit could not have been finer, and we left feeling we had made new friends at the Olde Savannah Inn!

Thank you, Kathleen, for a wonderful time spent at the Olde Savannah Inn. If you love being surrounded by elegant furnishings and being pampered by your innkeeper, you will love staying at the Olde Savannah Inn. Kathleen, the innkeeper/owner, really made us feel at home and pampered us with her southern hospitality. She suggested places for us to see and hailed a pedicap so we could get there with ease. Our room was spectacular with a large four-poster king bed decked out in elegant 800 count sheets. The bathroom was very large with a giant mirror, dressing table and claw foot tub. After our shower we had soft bathrobes and slippers to wear. Each room has a beautiful chandelier. When we returned from an evening of dining and experiencing Old Town Savannah our bed was turned down, a candle was lit, soft music was playing and cookies were waiting on a tray. Breakfast was a delight. The tables are set with elegant tablecloths and table settings. We watched and talked to the cook, Kathleen, while she created the most scrumptious meal. Ours consisted of her famous blueberry pancakes served with fresh fruit, caramelized bacon, sausage and fresh coffee and juice. We were in heaven. My only regret is that our stay was so brief. We wish we could have stayed longer.

My Boyfriend (at the time) took me to Savannah for my birthday. The Inn is georgeous and Kathleen was fantastic in making us feel at home... Little did I know, my boyfriend actually brought me to Savannah to propose. He had been in contact with Kathleen for a while and she was in on the entire surprise. I loved our room- it had a huge room shower! Breakfast was fantastic. Kathleen really makes you feel like you are truly welcome in her inn. It was raining when we came back in the afternoon and she offered us hot chocolate and snacks. We had a wonderful weekend and Kathleen and the Olde Savannah Inn made it even better. I would definitely reccomend staying there!
Thanks again Kathleen!!!! Sorry we didn't write sooner- we ave been crazy with work and our wedding!

We had a great time. The owner spared no expense in making you feel like a pampered guest. The breakfast was worth the trip by itself. The inn is beautiful in the heart of Savannah. Dakota the wonder dog assists the owner in making your stay great !!! I would highly reccomend staying at this bed and breakfast while in Savannah.

We celebrated our 25th anniversery staying at the Olde Savannah Inn, Savannah, GA. The total experience was outstanding. We booked the Versailles Room and it was incredible from the huge antique bed to the Roman style bath with matching tubs (also, you won't want to miss this jacuzzi!!!!!) The linens are the finest you will experience, and Kathleen the Innkeeper irons them all herself!!!
We had requested champagne and roses and all was there as promised. Kathleen's attention to detail is amazing. She really cares about her guest and puts 100% into everything she does. We were warmly greeted upon arrival as though we were old friends. We were even handed a glass of wine!.
The breakfast is a total experience, all 7 courses with music and candle light. The presentation is superb, and the blueberry pancakes are amazing. We did not eat lunch during our entire stay.
Kathleen herself really topped things off. She could not do enough for us. She a warm and caring person, and we left really feeling like friends. In fact, we 've already booked our next stay with our new friend.
If you're going to Savannah, you CANNOT miss staying at the Olde Savannah Inn!!

The B&B in the guidebook was full so they directed us two doors down to the Olde Savannah Inn. As we walked in we met Kathleen, proprietratrix of the Olde Savannah Inn. This is not an inn. It is not a hotel. It is not a bread and breakfast. It is home.
We have been a month in the US. Savannah and Kathleen's place have been the most memorable.
We have two recommendations to people coming to the US: go to Savannah; stay at the Olde Savannah Inn.
Kathleen was an energetic, enthusiastic host, willing to share a glass and share conversation and add great knowledge of the city.
Some of the people who drop in are interesting, too. We met the city's leading novelist.
If you want a standard, impersonalised, generic, franchised, insincere experience, do not go to the Olde Savannah Inn: go to Best Western or whatever. If you want a Savannah experience, this is the place. We were lucky enough to stumble upon it by accident. You have the advantage of being pointed to it.
Kathleen has restored this Inn superbly. The quality of the room and the dinning room and other areas of the hotel were breath-takingly charming.
Southern hospitality was exemplified by the quality, innovativeness and quantity of the breakfast.
