I am a repeat guest at this Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are clean & comfortable and are equipped with a microwave & mini fridge. The beds are extremely comfortable and have a variety of pillows for your comfort. Hot tea & coffee are available in the dining area and we even enjoyed some of the baked cookies during the evening. There are several common area seating choices which are comfortable and a good choice for visiting & people watching. I have enjoyed rooms with a balcony as well as the river view (without a balcony).
I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. I had the pleasure of dealing with Hope at the front desk. She was efficient during check in and check out. She readily answered the several questions I had posed. She was friendly and greeted us with a smile. She is an asset to Holiday Inn Express.
The location of this facility makes it within easy walking distance to River Street and the surrounding areas. The complimentary breakfast had sufficient choices to start the day.
Prior to arrival, stop at the Visitor's Center and obtain a parking pass (I purchased the $12 - 2 day pass) which is valid in the City parking garage adjacent to the hotel. It saves a few dollars vs. the $20 charge for valet parking at the hotel.More
