Great location. I've seen some reviewers mention the fire station. We stayed 3 nights and I never even knew there was a fire station nearby.
The exterior and furnishings are what you would expect from an historic B&B. We found the food Including evening hors d'oevres to be good and the service to be unfailingly pleasant.
When we arrived we learned our room was on the ground floor, which is more like a basement area. It was not a good choice for us. The owner upgraded us to a premium room at no charge and could not have been more gracious about it. In fact, what we took away from our 4 days was that the ownership and staff are clearly committed to ensuring that their guests are happy. What more can you ask for?More
