We celebrated our 15 wedding anniversary at The Foley House Inn. We made the decision to stay at the Inn based on the website information and hoped that upon arrival that we would be satisfied. Our expectations were exceeded from the moment we were personally greeted by staff at the door. We stayed in the Stafford Room which overlooked Chippewa Square. The room was absolutely amazing and the personal balcony was enjoyed each evening. The extra touches were truly appreciated. We especially enjoyed the extraordinary breakfasts each morning and private courtyard. We look forward to many returns to the Inn and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who desires a first rate experience.

We just returned home from a wonderful few days at the Foley Inn.
After researching several b&bs, I am so glad we stayed here.
The inn is just beautiful and its location in the center of the historical district makes everything so accessible. The staff was very helpful and personable. We met several couples from across the country and they all loved their stay at this inn. While walking the various squares, we didn't see any place we would have liked better.

Every time I stay at Foley House I'm always glad I did! Very comfortable, convenient, well priced and I never want to leave!
The staff is always very friendly and accommodating and having drinks with the other guests in the evening is a nice way to feel more at home...-- I'll probably stay there again next time I'm in Savannah. . . I highly recommend this B&B!!

The Foley House Inn is a beautiful, historic B&B in the historic district of Savannah. The rooms are all beautiful, the service is exceptional and the meals served there would qualify as gourmet. We went to Savannah to elope, and had planned to marry outside in Forsyth Park, but unfortunately there was a little rain, so the Foley House Inn moved all their parlor furniture around to accomodate a small indoor wedding for us in their parlor. We married right there, in that beautiful room with smiling guests looking on from the dining room. It was a wonderful experience we won't forget anytime soon! We spent a week there, honeymooning, and the hotel staff were wonderful, they made great recommendations on restaurants and activities, booked our private carriage tour and greeted us by name every day. Our room was beautiful and kept spotlessly clean, fresh linens and towels every day. I would definately recommend the Foley House Inn to anyone looking for a romantic getaway, or any kind of holiday.

We visted the Foley House in the summer of 2007 and loved it so much that we not only returned in 2008 but some friends met us. The four of us enjoyed the entire experience. Breakfast in the courtyard is a treat not only to the taste buds but you can also relax listening the the fountains, looking at the plants, etc as you are enjoying the delicious breakfast. Each day the four of us planned time for the beautiful, peaceful gardens. The Foley House is located so you can truly enjoy historical Savannah. Be sure to bring your walking shoes. The staff at the Foley House is first rate! No request is to much for them to handle. Don't miss the opportunity to be a guest at the Foley House!

My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay in Savannah and were more than pleased with the Foley House Inn. As others have mentioned, the location is superb and directly across from the square where Forrest Gump was filmed (the bench scene.) It is away from the honky tonk river crowd in a beautiful part of the Historic District.

We were there during a major heat wave in the middle of the week, so traffic was light and we were able to pick from a number of rooms at the Foley. We chose 203, a beautiful large room with 4 windows overlooking the terrace because it was right outside the breakfast area and nearest the front door, although a little noisy first thing in the AM when they are fixing breakfast. It was well air conditioned and decorated with period antiques without feeling "stuffy." We were able to see several rooms, and there are very nice ones with larger fabulous bathrooms upstairs. The staff was wonderful, and the hospitality services were outstanding. We loved stopping in periodically to grab a sweet tea and rest from the heat, and the hors d'oeuvres and wine in the evening were lovely. Breakfasts were very southern and plentiful served at individual tables in a cozy drawing room. (Warning . . . go on a diet before coming to Savannah, although it is a walking city so you can work it off before and after!!)

Shannon gave us great recommendations on homes to see and restaurants and shopping. My only suggestions to an otherwise perfect stay . . . a full length mirror behind a door would be nice for dressing. Foley House also has a lot of steps, and would not be good for someone who has trouble with them.
