This is our second stay at the Foley House. I highly recommend it to passing guest. Wonderful customer service from all of the staff. Chuck was especially fun in the evenings, entertaining us with his favorite stories and giving us recommendations for the city. We had a great time. Breakfast is delicious as well. The only thing I would recommend perhaps is to bring your own pillow if you are accustom to a fluffy feather pillow. The pillows are not very thick. Other than that you are set to go just like at home!

What a wonderful time we had at the Foley Inn during our getaway to Savannah just two weeks ago. The staff at the Inn were fabulous, from Christine and Chuck who greeted us upon our arrival, to the house staff who made our visit so comfortable. The Inn's pet friendly policy allowed us to enjoy Savannah with our golden retriever, which made our time there extra special. The accommodations were cozy (fireplace, very comfortable king bed) and our made to order breakfast, as well as our afternoon and evening treats were excellent - hats off the the chef! Thank you so much for a wonderful time-we hope to return sometime in the future.

What a relaxing and wonderful stay we had! My boyfriend and I brought our little french bulldog for a Savannah getaway and we were welcomed warmly by Chuck.
He led us up to our room, which was absolutely the best part! We had a fireplace, an extremely comfortable king size bed, good shower and our own little balcony overlooking Chippewa square. Love love love the room and that balcony was divine!
Breakfast in the morning was not quite as elaborate or diverse as one may have imagined from the website description, but was delicious all the same. We also enjoyed the staff in the mornings.
The location of the Inn is perfect. Incredibly central, yet quiet. There's a little gourmet market down the street as well! And we were both very impressed with how truly "dog friendly" they are…I wouldn't have expected such a lovely room! They also had many suggestions for restaurants with dog friendly patios.
I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Foley House Inn is a quaint, historic inn perched on the corner of picturesque Chippewa Square, a central location in the Historic District of Savannah. After reading Trip Advisor reviews we opted to stay in the main building in the Stafford Room and were very pleased with it. This large room has a bay window overlooking the square, 4-poster king bed, gas fireplace, sofa, and easy chair. The bathroom has a shower stall and a two-person Jacuzzi, and opens up onto a charming balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking the square. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The complementary breakfast, tea and sweets in the afternoon, and wine and cheese from 6-7 p.m. were all of good quality.

We would have liked a full-length mirror and a mini fridge in the room. Otherwise everything was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Had spent 3 nights over Christmas & what a terrific time we had! went with another couple that had been there before, we were so pleased & will be back in same room! Outside patio all our own, spacious room, fireplace to add warmth & romance. We loved the escape to Savannah Georgia & the Foley house topped the cake!

Room Tip: room 135 i think...downstairs king size bed....

My husband and I went to Savannah to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We stayed in Savannah two nights. The first night we stayed at the Ballastone Inn but since they were booked for our second night, we moved over to the Foley Inn for the 2nd night. The Foley Inn was OK but not impressive. We had just come from the Ballastone Inn which was wonderful with no detail overlooked. The Foley Inn does not pay attention to the details which contributes to the overall experience. The carpets are dirty. The glass shelves in the sitting rooms are dusty. The hearth in front of the fire place has not been cleaned in a while. At tea time, there was no hot water or cups for the tea, we had to go find some. In the evening when the port was available there were no wine glasses to pour it in. Our room was #306 which is behind the main building. The room was ordinary. The bathroom needed painting. The shower was excellent as the water pressure was great. Breakfast was a slight disappointment. One of the options was two eggs any style. I ordered scrambled eggs. The chef did not know how to prepare scrambled eggs, as they were more like 2 fried eggs that were then scrambled. The stay was pleasant but not fabulous.

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at out property and I do appreciate you letting us know where we fell short. There is no excuse for not having glasses and cups out and available and I have informed everyone to be more attentive to that as well as our dusty shelves.

I agree with you that the details are important. From our full service breakfast to our afternoon sweets and tea to our evening wine and Hors d’Oeuvres we try to make every guest's stay special. We don't charge extra for any of our services as other inns do. That's a detail that everyone likes. I am sorry that your eggs were not scrambled to your satisfaction. I am sure our chef India would have been happy to prepare them exactly as you wished had you let us know. We are always happy to make something special if requested.

I checked the carriage house room you stayed in and I think I agree that the bathroom needs a touch-up. Thank you for pointing that out and it will be addressed. Our carriage house was built in the 1980s and while very comfortable, they do not have the same historic charm as the rooms in our main house that was built in 1860. However I do not agree that they are "ordinary". They are special like all of our rooms. Just a bit more modest. We have very clear photos and videos of all of our rooms on our website. With every room you still have full use of our entire property and our wonderful staff and outstanding location. I do hope you had a wonderful anniversary here in Savannah.

This is a great dog friendly inn in a central location.
We stayed the weekend after Christmas for 2 nights with our Standard Poodle in one of the first floor rooms. The room was lovely, as was the inn, the bed was comfortable and the sweets at tea were excellent. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay in Savanna memorable. The location was perfect for exploring the sites.
We had a middle of the night visitor in our room on our last night. It was quite scary and the dog kept an eye out the rest of the night with us:) glad he didn't return,
Highly recommended.
