Hamilton Turner Inn has ruined all future hotels for us as it was wonderful. We were greeted by friendly reception staff and given a room upgrade to a bedroom we could of lived in. The inn had such a comfortable feel to it, we were offered complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the afternoon, wine early evening and port later evening. If you go to Savannah you must stay here, it is beautiful inside and out, and I miss it already!

The Hamilton-Turner is an outstanding boutique hotel. Location is terrific, right in the core of Savannah's fantastic center. Each room is unique -- but each is extremely comfortable. Service is excellent. The free breakfast is classic -- very sweet, very Southern, quite delicious. Truly a delight

Our stay at the Hamilton-Turner Inn was everything I had hoped and more! The house was elegant, the room furnishings were beautiful and the breakfasts were amazing! The parlor was decorated for Christmas. We had the pleasure of enjoying afternoon tea which was a special treat. We also enjoyed the happy hour and hors d' oeuvres each evening. You can't beat the location as you are right in the heart of the historic district. I would definitely recommend this Inn if you are in Savannah.

From the time I placed the reservation to celebrate our 25th anniversary at this inn I knew we were in for a treat. We had our two dogs with us and finding a classy place is really difficult but here it is. We had a small room with queen bed and a private entrance to get the pups in and out. When we had breakfast we put the guys in our car (it was cool out) so the room could be made up. The breakfast was yummy each morning and every question we had was quickly addressed. In the afternoon we enjoyed a glass of wine and got to chat with other guests which was really nice. When we mentioned our anniversary a bottle of wine was sent that evening. The inn is beautiful and right on the square. Do not miss the church across the street, spend 10 minutes inside to enjoy the beauty. We walked to the riverfront with ease. Street parking was not a problem for us.

Room Tip: Select rooms on line. No elevator so if you do not like stairs pick one on the main or first floor...

When a favorite Inn changes ownership/management, it's typical to wonder if the establishment will become the victim of cutbacks or downgrades in service. I was very happy to find that the Hamilton-Turner Inn is still a fantastic place to stay in Savannah. Obviously, the amazing location hasn't changed (the historic district is completely walkable from here; no car needed). The rooms were still spotless and well-maintained, and the staff was still extremely attentive to the guests without being overbearing. The breakfasts were fantastic, too; the standard items include yogurt, homemade granola (which was delicious), fresh fruit, and muffins. The hot entrées were tasty too, especially the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes. If you are visiting Savannah, I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful and historic Inn. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: The last few times I have stayed in the lower/basement area (Rooms 101 & 105). Although the room...

We stayed in the spacious Earl of Chatman room. The room was large with two very comfortable beds, a sitting area with two chairs and a love seat. The bathroom was huge and very nice! We had one large closet and one small closet. Perfect for us four ladies to hang up all our clothes. This room is located on the top floor. No elevator. We were okay with that! Great exercise going up three flights of stairs! We had a wonderful employee, Wallace, carry all our luggage up to our room. Everyone was so nice and helpful with making us feel right at home in this lovely mansion. Brian was very helpful in making reservation for restaurants and tours. The happy hour and a half was a great way to meet the other guests and visit about our day in beautiful Savannah. The morning we left we had to be gone by 5:45 am....we were greeted with coffee, sweet bread, muffins, fruit and granola to go! Plus our luggage was carried down by the night desk man. This was great service!! I would highly recommend this beautiful, historic Inn. Thank you for a great get away from the South Dakota Girls!
