We loved it! Not a better location in Savannah! We were able to walk everywhere, the hotel was clean and the staff very professional. The beds and bedding was top of the line, coffee makers were provided in the room as well as a lovely coffee shop in the lobby. Our view had an amazing view and the hotel elevator takes you right to the riverfront. We took the Ghost tour and loved it.

Room Tip: Take the ghost tour with Lunatic Laura, the ones that look like old funeral hearse!

Booked 2 rms w/priceline, for ourselves and another couple. Intially just one nt but added another and rcvng 2 reservation #s. Priceline does say that you may be asked to change rms but the desk said that wouldn't happen when we checked in. On our second day, we needed to have our card keys reset and were told we needed to move rms.It was the wk of July 4th. Also our friends had a glitch, their key cards wouldn't work the 2nd day and a privacy card had been put on their door so the rm wasn't cleaned. We did however mention seeing complimentary rm upgrades to riverview on tripadvisor and we did get this accomodation, our friends asked but did not mention trip advisor and got atrium view rm.
Other than these glitches, staff very friendly/fixed our issues, clean, comfortable, close to hop on hop off trolley stop, on the riverfront. Would definitely go back.

Room:3star
Bathroom:2star

Missed the boat on the Bathroom Reno with the recent updrade... Water did not even drain in the bathtub... Had to call for service and it still was slow drain...

Wi-Fi:$10... ComeOn... Even Motel6 has free Wi-Fi... Ridiculous!!!

***IT'S A 3START AT BEST***

After some things happened at home, we had to cut our vacation shorter than originally planned, so we decided to splurge and stay here. I'm glad we did. First, everyone has been nothing but kind and helpful, from the valet to the front desk, housekeeping etc-true Savannah hospitality at work. And the location, which was its selling point is great. It's nice to just ride the elevator down to River Street, which is where we spend most of our time anyways. The room was spacious enough, clean, and very quiet. Oh, and our towels were very thick towels, not thin crispy feeling towels like you get at some places. The only things I would really complain about is no fridge in the room, and paying $9.99 for WiFi (I mean, even McDonalds gives you free WiFi). Otherwise, if I could stay here again for the price I got through AAA, I would. Yeah, I don't particularly care for paying $20.00 a day for valet parking, but you're gonna have to pay that at any of these hotels in the historic district, and for the great location here, I'll pay it, otherwise, every time we drove down to River street, we'd have to pay to park in one of the lots or metered parking anyways.
