We discovered this hotel while on an extended road trip last year. We stayed there quite by accident. Last year, it was a random pick when we came to Savannah to dine at our favorite restaurant (Elizabeth's on 37th). This year we are on the road again and went out of our way to come to Savannah to dine again at Elizabeth's. This time we consciously chose this hotel. The breakfast is not the best, but next door there is a Denny's, which provides good food at a value price. We stay at this La Quinta (and not the one down the road) because it is not in town per se, but close enough so the drive is a non-event. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious. The price is very reasonable. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. If you can, reserve one of the suites on the second floor. It is a beautiful one bedroom apartment and very comfortable. There is no exercise room at this hotel, but you can use the one in the other La Quinta about three minutes away.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are modern an updated with flat screens. This room was a great value for the price. We had to take our dog because our sitter plans fell thru. It was nice there wasn't breed restrictions or weight restrictions. They also provided us with a list of dog friendly places like restaurants and parks in both Savannah and Tybee. The drive to the historic district isn't to bad but probably takes about 10 minutes. There was a Dennys in the parking lot which was very convenient. We didn't even eat the continental. The doors of the hotel are on the outside. The hotel is nice for the price and I would definitely recommend to others.

When we first arrived, it looked like a renovated motel 6. Once I got to the room I was disappointed in the size. It was very small and cramped. There were stains on the carpet and found flea eggs in the toilet paper. (or eggs of some sort.) The bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was a huge dip on one side of the bed. As usual, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was the typical fare for La Quinta Inn. I would not recommend a stay at this La Quinta.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very nice and the front desk staff was very friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. We love that pets are welcome at the facility. The room was spacious and very quiet. The location was good for getting around Savannah. We look forward to a return trip.

Our family stays at this hotel every time we're in Savannah. It's very nice, the staff is wonderful, and the location is great. It is a little far from the historical district but I love the drive and seeing the lesser known side streets.
