The Marshall House was very charming. We pulled up to the front of the hotel and were immediately greeted by the welcoming valet. The front desk staff were always extremely friendly, happy, and very helpful. We used the valet parking the first day and then choose to park in the garage ourselves because it was a bit cheaper to park yourself. The parking garage is just around the corner from the hotel. The hotel had a wonderful complimentary breakfast every morning and there was also wine and cheese in the lobby every night. The room was a nice size and was clean and comfortable. This is a historic building and is old so there is plenty of character throughout the hotel. The bathroom was a bit older styled but it fit the with the old charm of the hotel, and worked fine. The location of the hotel was great because you were within easy walking distance of many of the parks, restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. If I visit Savannah again I would definitely stay here!

The Marshall house fulfilled all our wishes for a hotel in the Savannah historic district. Centrally located, charming comfortable bedrooms and public rooms, delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Most everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

All the great reviews you read about The Marshall House are right on. Location is great and the hotel staff, rooms, ambiance etc. are top quality for a hotel of this size and age. Also had a fantastic dinner at the Bistro on the bottom floor.

Room Tip: Don't worry about being on the street side--we didn't hear street noises at all on the 3rd f...

I just returned from a Girl's Weekend in Savannah and we stayed at the Marshall House. The location was excellent and we were able to easily walk to the riverfront area for evenings out. The location is also great for shopping and dining. My only disappointment was the breakfast. From the stained seat cushions and plastic table cloths to the breakfast items that were available. The bagels were a little hard and the options were slim. I've actually had a better breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express. I would certainly stay here again, I would just not plan on eating there.

Also, we had a room with 2 queen beds and it was gorgeous! There was plenty of room and after contacting the concierge prior to arrival, we had plenty of towels and bathroom necessities.

Stayed for the first time at the Marshall House this past weekend. What a nice surprise it was. It was cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express on Bay Street where I usually stay. It is a wonderful old hotel full of antiques and history. Beautiful wood floors. Modern amenities. Large, comfortable bed and quiet rooms. Great bar downstairs and Bistro 45 is great too. Hotel staff are wonderful and friendly. Breakfast is superb and included. 2 delicious quiches, fruit, muffins, English muffins, biscuits, danishes, juice, etc. in a beautiful setting. Beats the Holiday Inn by a mile in this area. Try it!

Room Tip: Get a room on the end and in the back where there is no noise from the street. Also these are away...

This is the best of the best. The location is terrific. The staff is very friendly, and the decor is charming. They accommodated us with almond milk for breakfast. Brandt was extremely helpful with tours and restaurants.

We searched many hotels in Savannah using trip advisor reviews. We are glad we picked the Marshall House. From the moment we walked in the door on Sunday afternoon until we left on Friday we could not ask for better service. The suite we had was fantastic, tv in both parts of the suite, fridge for water and milk. Check in was a breeze and check out took less then 3 minutes. Breakfast in the atrium had everything available in a pleasant surrounding. We have already recommended The Marshall House to our friends. Location in the historic district is a great plus. You can walk to almost anything you want like many restaurants and river street as well.
