Convenient to River Street. The room was ok. AC would cut on and off rather loud. It had the necessary stuff. The breakfast was good. Only 2 elevators and there were times when you had to wait for a full load to empty and then return. Pool is on the roof with no clear directions how to get there (only one of the elevators goes to the pool). Staff was helpful and friendly.

We were only there one night but it was very nice. It was quiet, everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast was hot and large assortment of choices. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Hampton Inn!!

Room Tip: Back side of hotel faces the alley, so if you want a view ask for the front side.

I chose this hotel because of pictures on line and the price. I wasn't expecting the excellent service we got. The hotel was easy to find. We pulled up they were outside waiting to park the car and take our bags up to the room. Checked in fast and was walking along the riverfront within half a hour. The location couldn't be better. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great the staff was there to help out too. Fitness room had excellent treadmills and music and the room was cool. We took a bottle of wine up on the rooftop by the pool one evening. The concierge gave us great info on what to do and where to go. Great price and excellent service with the best location

This location was awesome. I'm really glad that we ended up staying here when we visited Savannah. The location was perfect. We were only here for one night, but we were able to walk right out of the hotel and at the corner there was a trolley stop that we could jump on to. The trolley tour was really fantastic. It's about a 90 minute tour that takes you around the city. It's nice because you can hop on and hop off at every stop for photos/food/etc.

The location of this hotel was close to EVERYTHING. The hotel is parallel to the Riverfront, which is just one block away. You have to go down some old city steps, but it makes for a nice evening walk. Along the Riverfront there are many bars and pubs that are easily to hop from one to the next. They have a bunch of specials with super cheap drinks. The bars also have a variety of games - pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, foosball, etc.

If I ever go back to Savannah I would definitely stay here again. This was the perfect location to ditch the car and walk around town. The only bummer is that you have to valet and it's $20 per day.

The breakfast was good here too. It's free and they had fresh potatoes - not the chalky potatoes that you get at all the other Hamptons. This was the first Hampton that I stayed at with these potatoes and it was delicious (I've stayed at about 30-50 different Hampton Inns and I definitely think this is one of the top locations).

The hotel also has a rooftop pool that makes for a nice afternoon of relaxing in the sun.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks Bay Street. It's a nice view, especially if you like to people watch.
