“Superb BBQ”

Lively staff! Superb food! I'm usually ravenous by lunch time and Pink Flamingo has various lunch specials (chopped brisket/chicken or pulled pork sandwiches)and you cannot beat free tea Tuesday! Don't forget to grab dessert! Delectable cheescake!

“Best BBQ in four states--don't miss it!!”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

This is a local BBQ spot and my first time there. The portions are HUGE so be prepared to take some with you. The pulled pork is almost like it is in NC which is unbelievable and the coleslaw has a vinegar taste just like NC BBQ places so it's amazing. The beef brisket is very tender and juicy. This is not Texas brisket with strong garlic or wood smoke flavor but with that medium or hot sauce it is addicting, in fact, I overate. I just wish it had a little more crunch and charr on it with those intense seasonings. The cheesy potatoes were good and fresh and side salads were also very fresh. The sausage was the best I have ever had and tastes like hickory farms. I would order a full portion next time it was that good and I am not a sausage fan except for this sausage. The caramel pecan pie was rich and amazing but very sweet as we split one slice. I took a lot with me and many hours later I ate it with their hot BBQ sauce and it was even better than eating it in the restaurant. Putting the sauce on and letting it sit let the sauce get absorbed into the meat and made it taste amazing. It's not fancy but the food was great so if you are within 30 miles of this place go there and see how real BBQ is done.

“Nothing fancy”

Bbq ok. Had no sliced brisket. No ham. Chopped brisket was bland. Sausage was good. Sides were good. Staff was friendly. But it was about 10 minutes to closing time, at 3 in afternoon.

“Outstanding Barbeque!”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

On a business trip to Ft. Smith, we stopped at Ralph's Pink Flamingo upon the very positive feedback and recommendations from other tripadvisor reviewers. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. (I enjoyed the beef brisket and my wife enjoyed the pulled pork.) Wow--a great dining experience all the way around! A menu with something for everyone--and a really surprising and extensive choice in meats. Though they offered the "usual sides," they were far from usual in preparation and taste. Sauces on the table (homemade) offered something for everyone's taste and preference (mild, sweet, smoky, spicy and lightening hot). Super-generous portions and the staff was outstanding--so welcoming and helpful. Value--you can't beat it! If you are anywhere in the Ft. Smith area and have a taste for outstanding barbeque, you will not be disappointed with Ralph's Pink Flamingo.

“Good brisket”
Reviewed 6 June 2014 via mobile

The brisket sandwich was really good. Meat had a good flavor and was tender. If you like hot sauce try the Extra Hot. Will go back for sure
