“Always consistent, always friendly and fresh”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

Have visited this restaurant repeatedly since the last review, and want to report that it is very consistently good, no matter what menu item is ordered. The service is excellent even though there is usually a crowd and few waitresses. It's obvious that the dishes are made to order, and that fresh ingredients are staples here. Amazing that this weird off-set location is as busy as it is in a town of Vietnamese food. Our favorite is # 15....Vermicelli with pork, shrimp, eggroll and lemongrass and oyster sauce. Couldn't be better.

“Delicious Vietnamese Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

In Van Buren for business and the girlfriend found this place on Trip Advisor. Glad she did and that we drove over to Fort Smith - well worth it. Everything we had was very great and the service was good as well. Very flavorful Pho (girlfriend is very picky about Pho and she really liked this one); loved the tofu spring rolls, and a good chicken dish with vegetables too. Very large portions of everything. If back in the area, I'll definitely be coming back to the Green Papaya. Highly recommended.

“Wonderful, fresh food”

Had never had Vietnamese food before, but saw the excellent reviews & as a local, decided to try it. It was excellent. My only criticism is the lack of fountain drinks and free refills.

“Very good Vietnamese food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014

Tried the Green Papaya from TA reviews. We arrived at 7:30 PM on a Sunday evening after a long day driving from Atlanta. The restaurant was busy and we were seated immediately. The waiter recommended the Spring rolls which were very good and inexpensive. We had a fried rice dish with shrimp, chicken, and pork. Also had a chicken dish with nice pieces of chicken and vegetables and a good sauce. The food was very good and priced well. The restaurant is located in a building that was formerly a Dairy Queen. This is worth a try for Vietnamese food.

“A New Favorite”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014 via mobile

We were traveling through on I40 and saw the reviews so we thought we'd stop in. Didn't know it was so far off the highway. It was definitely worth the trip. Their beef Pho is some of the best I've tasted. It was flavorful and had lots of meat, I couldn't eat it all. (That's unusual). This will definitely be a regular stop for us when we are in the area. Our server was very friendly and helpful. A great experience.
