“Average Middle Eastern Food”
Reviewed 4 May 2014

Stopped in for lunch and ordered one of their lunch plates. The menu is Middle Eastern/Mediterranean and the lunch plates provide a small sampling of a variety of salads and side dishes from the region. My wife was recently in Israel and was looking for some great dishes from the Middle East region. Food was just average - probably because most of if was pre-made for the lunch plates. We will give it another try when we are back in the area - probably wait and go at dinner when everything is not pre-made. Their lunch plates are a good place to start if you are not familiar with food selections from the Middle East - will give you an idea of what some of the items taste like and at a reasonable price.

“True Mediterranean Cuisine with Special Vibes”
Reviewed 28 September 2013

We are very lucky to have this classy, understated little restaurant in our neighborhood, as well as it's brother restaurant in downtown Vancouver, Wa. The food is Middle Eastern and super freshly prepared. It is delightful and suprising cuisine with great bursts of flavor. Very good and absolutely authentic. The Jerusalem Mazza Platter is our favorite, and any way they prepare lamb is fantastic. The little salad sides are all different with flavors that pop, and you will come back here time and time again.

“Don't Miss This Place”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

Leaving late I was sure we'd miss having lunch here but no they are open all afternoon! Bravo.

I had been dreaming of their fresh Babaganoush and it did not disappoint. We had a Mediterranean Salad and the eggplant with pita and it was the perfect meal for two. This place is a gem, I shall be thinking about it until my next trip south.

Family run andf always friendly.Hilarious to hear tales of his venture into Portlandia and all the special requests that drove him to sell that location---too many hipsters with food allergies. Allergic to garlic? Why go to a place like this?

Gotta love this place, this family, and the wonderful reasonably priced meals they serve. Please open a place in Seattle, we need one.

“Great find near I-205”
Reviewed 23 August 2013

We stopped for late afternoon lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The location is convenient - just a few blocks off I-205 at the Mill Plain exit. The owner is delightful and put together a very good Middle Eastern meal for us - we lived in the Middle East for three years and can vouch that this is good and authentic food. Service was a bit slow, but very attentive. Price is moderate. Will definitely visit again.

“One of my favorite restaurants in Vancouver”
Reviewed 31 May 2013 via mobile

When I see you all voting Elmer's & Red Robin as your favorite places up here, it disappoints me a bit.

Try something new. I've been visiting this location and the one downtown since 2001. Great food, fair prices, and you're supporting a small local business.
