While this theater has all the makings of a wonderful place to hang out, grab a brew and a movie. It falls short of every expectation that you might have. Half the seats are broken in some way or another, there is always some technical problem with the servers the movies play off of, and the food... The food is good when the Executive Chef is in the kitchen, otherwise they have no qualified cooks. Of course the kitchen staff are payed sub-standard wages so someone with real talent would most likely not stay on.
You might think with all this against it the prices would be comparable, wrong again, the prices are from $8.50 for matinee in the bargain "Grand Auditoriums" to over $18 in one of the "Parlors" which are much less comfortable then the Kennedy school across the river in Portland.
