One of th few Thai places in Vancouver that serves 'fresh tofu'. Most places fry their tofu (it doesn't appear fried-I was unaware of this for years). The salad rolls with the 'fresh tofu' are the bomb! They also have a thicker peanut sauce (so yummy) that you can request along side of the regular thinner plum peanut sauce.
The portions are generous and the vegetables are always fresh. The service is impecable especially for an unassuming strip mall location. Our server explained many dishes to us patiently, order was spot on and he was also attending a large group that was eating there. He was very busy, but our service and food were still perfect. Thank you to whomever this was! You helped make our 'date night' a wonderful evening. We have also checked the local health district scores and this place gets very good scores. Yay!

Don't let the fact that this Thai restaurant is in a strip mall as looks can be very deceiving. The restaurant was clean with tablecloths on all of the tables.

We were here with family for lunch today and started off with egg rolls. They were smaller in diameter than traditional ones and cut in half with silver noodles, vegetables, taro, wrapped in egg roll paper and deep fried served with plum sauce. I thought this was nice because they weren't so hot when you bit into them that half the filling would come out and burn you.

We had Curry Fried Rice (fried rice with green curry or red curry in coconut milk, bamboo, sweet basil and bell peppers) and Drunk Noodles (Pan – fried big Thai rice noodles with tomatoes, garlic, sweet basil and sweet sauce) that had plenty of food to share. Consider getting it family style so you can share several dishes with the others you are dining with. The amount of food you receive makes it a good value. Especially if you didn't want to walk away totally stuffed from your meal. You could easily share a meal with someone and still be satisfied.

We would come back here the next time we are in Vancouver.

Nice little restaurant with good ambiance and white tablecloths! The food is wonderful and the portions are good size for sharing or take home leftovers for lunch the next day.

We trusted the trip advisor community to steer us to a good meal this weekend while we were visiting in the Portland/Vancouver area, and you all came through! Our dinner at Dok Koon was fresh, flavorful, cheerfully served and - did I mention, a lot of food for the money. If you don't have big appetites consider sharing a dish, there's still plenty! Bon Appetit, or however you say that in Thai.

We order carry out from Dok Koon whenever we feel like having spicy food for dinner.
The dishes it offer was as close to to the food I've tasted when I was in Thailand. The food has just the right touch of spiciness yet not overpowering. Prices are very reasonable. We can get a dinner to feed 3 people for about $25.
