We arrived to view the Aurora Experience in the evening and the Ice Museum was closed but the manager opened it up and showed us through which was a lovely thing to do. We got to slide down the ice slide and take photos of the sculptures with us beside them.

A novel experience. The hour plus drive is part of the fun. We were lucky enough to see a moose strolling the roadside! The tour is very brief and could certainly go into more details about the carvers and the annual competition, etc. Maybe even some funny stories about the people who have "tried" to overnight in the ice rooms. But it is fun and not expensive. The drink at the end is certainly strong but ohh soo good!

An ice museum full of amazing sculptures is an unusual place to visit. This one has beds, a bar and an igloo among other cleverly crafted things like Martini glasses for the Apple-tini served at the end of the tour. Well worth a visit for the novelty value, and although I've read reviews that say the tour is short, I thought it was long enough to stay in sub-zero temperatures and had plenty time to see everything. It is quite a small museum.

It was a lot of fun, good martini at the end. It is cold, they provide a coat but i would suggest to bring gloves. Beautiful ice sculptures, great pictures.
