Wow! I write from Prague. I have stayed in many different places throughout the world and this was, by far, the most wonderful, eclectic place for staying Alaska that I know. The hosts Sean and Suzi are delightful people and it would be worth the stay just to meet them, but the hostel itself is a tremendously beautiful and comfortable and unique place that was the highlight of my stay in Alaska. It is wonderful, large, log masterpiece built by owner in the woods with a lovely lake and nestled within a famous community. It is close to University and city center but you can really feel like you are at home in the wilderness with a few very good friends. Highly recommended. I go back there this summer I hope.
