“Great Experience”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

Went to the frontier and stayed in the lap of luxury. Dale and Jo provides beautiful views (including Denali), superb suggestions and recommendations, great comfort/convenience, northern lights viewing, and each morning you will experience the best breakfast you will ever taste. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We stayed in the Executive Spa room, and it was like living in the lap of luxury. From the giant 3-side picture windows overlooking the Alaska range and Fairbanks, with views of the aurora at night, to the large soaking tub, to the multi-jetted shower, everything here was absolutely amazing. Our hosts, Dale and Jo, were friendly and accommodating, and if you so wished, would wake you up to view the northern lights when they came out (usually at 2am). The lights were viewable, even on a relatively quiet auroral activity night, right from the spa room, so no need to stand out in the freezing cold to view them! From the room the aurora will appear over Fairbanks, so you get a bit of city light, but they are still easily seen.

The breakfast they provided was a delicious pizza, and they will keep it out for you if you want to sleep in till later.

Room Tip: Get the executive spa room! It's expensive but totally worth it.

We just left Dale and Jo's today after 5 nights in the Executive Spa room. A wonderful, luxurious stay. The king size bed has giant view windows allowing lovely views without getting out of bed. Deep soaking tub and multi spray shower. Jo makes a great breakfast each morning. We came to Fairbanks to see the Aurora - it failed to show for our first three nights but around 6:30 AM on our 4th morning Jo yelled for everyone to come out - the Aurora was finally out. All the guests ran out (I threw on the terry cloth robe provided in the rooms and ran out in slipper and bare legs - about 15 degrees outside but I was so thrilled to seek the lights I didn't notice the cold. Seeing the lights was on my bucket list but the trip has been so much more.
Dale and Jo are great advisors on how to enjoy Fairbanks.
We highly recommend Dale and Jo's and will return.

My husband and I stayed three nights in the Executive Spa room. My "must have" is a clean room. It was very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again! I booked this room last July hoping to see the Aurora in March, 2014. At 1:30 in the morning we awoke to see the most beautiful sky-filled Aurora. We could see it from every direction in our room while getting to stay in our pajamas! Dale and Jo made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and was a great treat every morning. Thank you again Trip Advisor. I always check your reviews before booking at a new destination.

We booked two nights in the Spa Room for the last of our Fairbanks vacation. This experience redeemed past B&B experiences for my husband! Such a beautiful room, well thought out amenities, impeccable view, and gracious hosts. Breakfast was a delicious treat both mornings and started off our days right.

I wouldn't hesitate to give this my highest recommendation to any TA users! Phenomenal experience and can't wait to come back.

Great B&B. We stayed for 6 nights in 2 different rooms. Hosts were warm and inviting. Rooms very clean, tasteful, and in great condition. Excellent bedding. Outstanding soundproofing – never heard a peep from another guest room. Very good breakfast. Super location, wonderful views, just outside the city but still very easily accessible. Bottom line; if we’re ever in Fairbanks again we would not even consider staying elsewhere.
