“Incredible atmosphere and service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2014

PT has great atmosphere, especially for a dinner among family/friends, or a date. It's dark, cozy, intimate, and comfortable. Service is prompt and very attentive. The food is very good, but I would say not outstanding. The wine list is, however, outstanding. In the balance, I highly recommend PT.

“Almost very good”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

We started our two weeks staying at Williamsburg be having our first dinner at PT. We got our table at the terrace. We ate only first courses and "dolces".
Rather nice enviroment, interior, which is likely supposed to look a little bit italian. If comparing PT to Italian restaurants in Italy, I would say that it´s represents average, which of course is rather good everywhere else. So the three dots could be also three and a half.
Anyway something was missing, if thinking of enjoying really Italian cuisine. On the whole, it wasn´t a bad place to start living in Williamburg. In the end it turned out to be the best Italian in Williamsburg.

“Cozy Italian”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 September 2013

Although the rustic presentation seems a little rough at the outset, the warmth of the waitstaff and the food more than makes up for it within five minutes. The freshest ingredients appear to compose a perfect appetizer. The short ribs just melt off the bone. Each pasta is decidedly perfect. Wine paired with the meal is just perfect. Beside that--a parking spot right outside the door! Cant wait to return...

“A slice of cozy Sardinian hospitality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2012

I have been back to PT like a homing pigeon. It is that rare place that accommodates itself well to any kind of occasion...casual, celebration, even business. The food is simple and hearty but elegant, highly recommend veal shin and spaghetti bottarga, and the thoughtful gestures like a bit of pecorino with wine are true hospitality.

“Charming, romantic and special”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 September 2012 via mobile

My husband and I are on weekend holiday staying in Brooklyn and this was our first night out in NY together... Walked all the way up Bedford and back, and finally chose PT. It's romantic, cozy and dark (guys, bring your date here) Sat in the back garden - charming with its fairy lights, greenery and laid back atmosphere. Service was stellar and food well prepared, although mains were salted twice by error. Owner met us to personally apologized and more than made up for it. Things happen - we understand, and have a feeling it was taken so much to heart that a mistake here would never be repeated. Our experience, despite the oversight, was still a very memorable one. Will return. **Something special about this place ! **
