Brent is a wonderful host—always available and thoughtful. He has the apartment very clean and filled with things to make your stay comfortable. We stayed 12 nights in early April. On the ground floor with it’s own entrance, there are no flights of stairs to negotiate. The foyer/hall has a washer/dryer which works well and a door closes off the apartment from this entrance. The studio apt is arranged well into separate areas. The queen bed is comfortable and a desk with pens, paper, maps, and a spiral notebook of good information greet you. Plenty of outlets. The tv is large with many channels. The wi-if is fast. A walk-in closets offers plenty of space for all your travel items and an iron/board keeps you well-pressed. The kitchen has great appliances, including a Keurig coffee machine. Brent leaves you some cups to get you started. We bought more from Starbucks and had ordered some from Amazon before our trip. The bathroom gives you choices—separate shower (shower head is great) or jetted deep tub. The vanity gives plenty of storage place. Toiletries abound. A boon is no steamy room when you shower—ventilation is excellent.
There is a door leading to the backyard where one can grill/dine on the patio in warm weather. Subway is close (Classon Ave) and restaurants abound nearby. We liked the Indian restaurant Sapphire on Dekalb Ave—good basic food at a reasonable price. Many restaurants will deliver if you want to eat in. Greene Ave feels safe and a great residential area. Will I return if Brent allows? Of course! This apartment really feels like home.
