“Fantastic donuts”

Fresh made donuts to kill for at incredibly good prices make Peter Pan worth a long visit to experience this breakfast Mecca in Greenpoint. Arrive early as a line forms for the famous donuts though it does move pretty quickly. You can sit in the back and enjoy other cheap breakfast treats, but my recommendation is to grab a donut and find a bench in the nearby McCaran park and enjoy the lovely area and people watching. The Red Velvet donut is probably the most popular, but I'd suggest waiting for a fresh batch of any type and getting that as the warm, melty frosting makes any type delicious. The donuts were nicely fried and not too greasy or heavy. The also went perfectly with the cheap ($1) cup of coffee.

Amazing donuts, old-fashioned style, in an old-fashioned atmosphere with dinette seating. My favorite is red velvet. There is sometimes a line to get in, but it is worth the wait.

I sought out this bakery bad on TA reviewers. The shelves were fully stocked when I visited at around 11:30 so I picked a variety.red velvet, honey twist, apple crumble, chocolate coconut, and cream filled chocolate. Glad we won't for the variety. The apple crumble one was my favourite followed by the honey dip. The others were ok. The cream filled ones were not fresh cream but had a thin marshmellowy? Texture to it. All in all they were nice doughnuts not fantastic, not he best I've ever tasted but a nice experience. Surprisingly the waitress was not rude to us but not overly friendly either, just expressionless (if there is such a word).
The price for 5 donuts was just a little over 5dollars which is good.

Freshly made doughnuts and bagels that were so good I wish I could go there every day. Small friendly neighborhood atmosphere at a very good price.

This place has been around forever and the donuts are still delicious. The staff is dressed in uniforms(rare in these parts) and the the lines for donuts is interesting. Their eclairs are fresh and come with 2 fillings. Their various jelly donuts are filled just enough with yummy fillings.
