No issues at all with this hotel. Relatively new property, great staff, easy parking on and off street, rooms were good size.

I think the negative here is the blocks or two around hotel. there are probably many people who would be wary to walk the three blocks to 5th Ave or Atlantic/Barcley area because of the walk in between.

So if you are thinking of staying here, just know that the immediate area is shaky.

I walked twice to Atlantic and twice to 5th Ave, where there are shops and resturants with no issue, there are many choices and options around.

Fitness area is weak, breakfast is standard Fairfield fare.

All in all - nice place

We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Broolyn for my son's wedding weekend. We reserved a block of more than ten rooms for our out of town guests after checking out several different Brooklyn options and we were more than satisfied with our decision. The hotel is convenient to all of the Park Slope restaurants and bars, an easy walk to 5th Avenue. The rooms are small (typical for NYC) but super modern and clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good, many hot options and again, very clean and well supervised. The best part though was the roof! We used it both Friday and Saturday nights for family get togethers. You can bring drinks and food, and with the help of the hotel staff we even ordered food delivered right to the rooftop. The view was great, there is plenty of seating, and because there are a couple of different levels and areas to sit, it was both private for us and we didn't take it over for anyone else (I hope!). All of our guests were very happy with the Fairfield Inn and though we didn't go into Manhattan because we had so much to do in Brooklyn, the subway stop is right up the street. They do charge for parking in the lot, but there is also overnight street parking which we had no trouble finding. The staff was very accomodating to all of our needs, ordering cars to get us to the church for the wedding, etc. and when an emergency arose and I had to stay an extra night, they gave me a very good rate and offered to do whatever they could to help us out. I highly reccomend this hotel and will stay there for any future trips to Brooklyn!

Room Tip: Try to get a room with an even number and as high up as you can. The rooms on the 4th floor are righ...

We stayed here for one night. We were from out of town and had a concert at the Barclay Center. This location is about 3 min car ride to Barclay center depending on lights.

The room was super clean, very large and modern. Everything looked very new inside. Our room had a lot of windows. View was of a junk yard, which didn't matter much because it was only to sleep when we came home late from concert.

The front desk workers were very kind and helpful and gave us directions to places to eat, etc.
You have to pay to park your car there $25.

I would stay here again if I had to go to the Barclay center.

We stayed for one evening to go to a concert at the Barclay center. The rooms are typical Fairfield inn but they are clean and new. The staff is nice and helpful. Parking is easy because they have a lot (you pay for it but is is convenient)

(We stayed here the first week-end in June, but I wrote this review for another site when it was fresh in my mind.)

We stayed 5 nights, 4 days, and will definitely go back. The room was perfectly adequate for a couple and very clean (including bathroom). If one person was sitting at the desk, the other couldn't pass by without having to ask the sitter to shift position. The breakfast was fine with fruit and other options for those wanting to eat healthy. There were also scrambled eggs and sausage. On 2 of our 4 days there, we came back in mid-afternoon and found our room not made up. Since we wanted to rest, this was an inconvenience. We raised this with the front desk the second time it happened, and the staff was very helpful and attentive: the room was ready within 20 minutes. Location: in a nonresidential neighborhood at the extreme edge of Park Slope away from Prospect Park (not even sure if it is technically Park Slope. It is approx. 15 min. walk to Atlantic-Pacific subway station, less to the R stop at Union St. While I was first nervous about walking back after dark (still early), we did do it twice and it seemed okay -- the key is, are there people around on the street. If you need to stay in Brooklyn and want a hotel style place (not a B&B or quaint hotel), you compromise on location, as far as I can see.

Stayed here as a convenient location before departing for Southampton, UK from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal the next day. We were very pleased with the desk staff, the room, and the overall appearance of the hotel. The included breakfast was standard and got us on our way. An earlier telephone call to hotel with questions about how it appeared on Street View yielded assurance that it was within easy walking distance of Brooklyn’s 5th Avenue and a number of restaurants. This was accurate and we had a very nice meal in a restaurant reviewed elsewhere. Overall – a definite return any time we are in Brooklyn the night before sailing from the Cruise Terminal.

Room Tip: Fourth floor is half flight up from lobby and perfect for those who do not ride elevators.

Although you're in Brooklyn, it's only one stop away from Canal Street in lower Manhattan. This hotel is clean (!), affordable and has a great free breakfast! Don't miss the view of Lady Liberty from the roof top....

Room Tip: The higher the better - there's a lovely view if you're on the west side of the building.
