My family and I very much enjoyed this hotel in Brooklyn. We got to take the subway from Manhattan, walk over the Pulaski Bridge, and through an interesting section of Brooklyn to our hotel. All very interesting for rural Vermonters! The walk from the subway station took about 10 minutes.
The hotel itself was great. High ceilings, interesting decor and knick-knacks throughout, two flat screen tv's and free wifi.
We didn't have any windows in our room, just some skylights, but the room itself was lovely.
Very friendly service.
We bought food in a local grocery store and used the room's kitchen to cook breakfast and prepare lunches. The kitchen was modern with new cookware. They even provided coffee.
I recommend this hotel for traveling families.
One thing that seemed odd to us was there was no recycling in the room. Just a garbage can.
Also: the bathroom was fine, bright, modern, big enough with one flaw: the toilet seat was made of flimsy plastic. Totally unexpected. Such a nice room and furnishings otherwise.
