Cool boutique hotel.
Clean. Comfortable. Large room. Good shower.
Will be back and will recommend.

We had a great time. Restaurant tips were spot on. Do not hesitate to book this place!

Terrible customer service

The room was cute. It was a great location for the US Open. However, when I checked in I had a terrible experience with Elizabeth. She asked for a credit card and my ID. I gave it to her and said I would like to use a different credit card to pay. I thought she was taking this credit card to play a hold on incase we messed up the room (typical of most hotels). Instead she charged the entire amount of my stay on the card (over $1000). I said to her, this is why I said I want to use another credit card to pay. Also, usually you pay at the end of your stay. She was so rude, did not apologize and did not think she did anything wrong. If you stay here, stay away from Elizabeth and be prepared to pay all up front. Also, housekeeping was not great- they didn't come until the afternoon and didn't make the bed.

Best Memories Ever

I was at the Box House Hotel for almost a full week for my daughter's wedding that was the classiest and most beautiful wedding held on the hotel rooftop. Our stay at the hotel was seamless and completely enjoyable. The decor is beautiful but comfortable. Anytime I visited the front desk with questions or requests, I was always greeted with professional and helpful staff. This staff, David, Andy, Sarah, Singh, Lesly, were all excellent and just incredible people. Not only were they
knowledgeable but they were very good at establishing relationships and handling logistical issues. Special thanks to Krista the event coordinator who knocked it out of the park with the wedding. The hotel is in a great location, quiet but close to everything you would want to visit. I will go back wedding or no wedding. This hotel is a great find!

Saved by the Box House!

We had reservations at a Bed and Breakfast in Brooklyn and when we arrived on a late Saturday afternoon, we learned it had closed a month previous. We frantically began calling and looking on line for an inexpensive alternative and found out about Box House on Hotel Tonight app. Are we ever glad! First, the place has a hipster vibe without being gag-me hipster. Great art and really wonderful decorative touches in the lobby and each room. Beds were super comfy, even if the headboard was a tad creaky. Loved the little touches like books in each room and retro/mid century furniture. Great restaurant too. We especially appreciated the shuttle service to and from the subway. Parking is on street but we had little trouble finding a space. The hotel solidly built so don't worry about it being near the Pulaski overpass. We didn't hear this in your room, tho we did think it was thundering one morning--which it wasn't--but who minds the sound of thunder?! Will def. stay here next trip to NYC!

Brooklyn’s Best. The Box House Hotel

We have stayed here a number of times and it is an outstanding place. The building and its decor is fun to look at each time. The staff at the Bar are engaging, the food very good and the staff are always very personable and professional. Hats off to both of it drivers for their personal insights into the area. Great Place. And Great people
