Eat individual ingredient on the pizza was gastronomically delightful. The sausage was a combination of pork and beef. The sausage brought me back in time when I would eat those kind of sausages only at home. The mozerella was good though. The tomatoes sauce was very unique. And finally the onion was very unsual in a very good way. There are two kinds of onions. One type of onion was cameralized. It was sweet and tangy. and another kind of onion was green and fresh.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had, made in the old coal oven in the basement, which extends below the sidewalk. They also bake bread and make their own olive oil. Friendly service. A real hidden gem.

This is a small place with an old world Italian charm. They apparently have a huge coal oven in the basement that the owner discovered and refurbished and now use to make pizza. Pizza was excellent - can't go wrong with prosciutto and arugula - classic. My husband and I also had the ox tail ragu special with homemade pasta. Pasta itself was great and the sauce was tasty with a hint of nutmeg and raisins. It was a hearty and filling meal overall. We were one of only two tables in the whole restaurant on a Wednesday night and the waiter could have been more attentive but overall he was personable. Would definitely eat there again. Great for a romantic dinner. They also do carry out and coffee/desserts.

This wonderful Italian Restaurant located in Bushwick Brooklyn was quite a surprise. The food was outrageous. If you remember grandma's macaroni (homemade) then this is the place for you. We were a group of 16 and we were seated very comfortably in the back room. Although the room was not in any way decorated - we were very happy away from the other patrons. We were able to have noisey conversation and laughs (kind of a reunion of Brooklynites). We were given family style platters of appetizers one after another. The owner came to us several times throughout the evening to make sure that we were pleased with the food and service. We were exceptionally happy with the food and when the Chef came to check on us we applauded him. Our waiter Antonio, came to New York 10 days ago from Sicily and he was just wonderful. Italian style pasta, meats, fish, macaroni and salads all cooked to perfection. Moderately prices and served with love. The restaurant was welcoming and the locals are enjoying the ambiance.
Buon Appetite
