This was one of the best hotels/motels I've stayed at. It was cozy, and cute!!! The hotel has a great view! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I'd LOVE to come back here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Such a contrast from St Mary's. Fabulous accommodation up the hill from the main road with a full kitchen and outside sitting area as well as inside. We sat outside eating/reading/writing until it was dark with the sound of the river way below. Helpful staff too. And very reasonably priced. Why stay in more expensive 'park' accommodation when you could be here so close to the western entrance to wonderful Glacier National Park?

Room Tip: Go for the cabins up the hill rather than down near the main road.

Think National Park Service cabin: small, very basic and functional -- no TV, no phone, tiny bathroom, no air conditioning. Our room here reminded us of a cabin we stayed in on the north rim of the Grand Canyon (not the lodge, the cabins). It is a good location right outside the gate to Glacier NP, and you pay for that, though this was the only lodging near the park under $100 a night. There's a restaurant, bar, small store and other conveniences within walking distance.

This motel was our first stop on our trip through Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. We arrived later in the day and were happy with the motel and its surroundings. Although the motel is very basic in what it offers in the rooms...no t.v. or A/C. The rooms are clean and that's the most important part to me. The bed was comfortable and served its purpose.

Very basic but pretty good place to get a good night's rest.

We got to Glacier too late to get a camping spot. Most are gone before noon in the summer, so we got the last hotel available. The location was great. It was right outside the park and had a restaurant and bar very close by. The room was very small and over-priced. We stayed 3 nights and had 2 different rooms and both were underwhelming. If you find yourself desparate, I would go for it, but try to plan ahead and you will be happier with your accomodations!

We stayed at the cabin for 2 night. The cabin was really nice, enough room for 3 people and had facilities like any other hotels. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The location of the cabin and motel is the best, little inside the small but beautiful West Glacier town and just beside the river. It's just couple of miles away from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. I would highly recommend to others.

We needed a last minute place to stay and this place had rooms for under $100 a night. I think the place is fine but there are a few tips worth mentioning.

1) Not all rooms are near town. We were slightly disappointed to hear that we would be about 1/3 mile from town. Then again, it was very nice and quiet.
2) Rooms are simple, don't expect much.
3) Showers were fine for us, but as others had mentioned, the one in our room was smaller than average. Towels were average.
4) Probably best for people who just need a place to sleep, shower, organize their gear, and nothing more.

Nice features: Free fire pit area. Ice was available in small quantities.
