Owner description: The beautiful park surrounding the immense Lake Powell.
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Nice place to visit if you have some time. Helps gain a bit of insight into the building of the dam and the bridge. It was quite a feat at the time and its impressive to see the workforce and effort that it took to build this dam. There are some ancient fossils to see and they have a really nice display that helps you understand what the area looked like in pre-historic times.

We took a boat trip to Antelope Canyon for hour and a half. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, we enjoyed the trip very much. A tip: you must be among the first to board the boat in order to have a seat on the upper desk (we were happy to be in the beginning of the line). Otherwise you will be allowed only on the lower deck and look outside through the windows at all those fantastic rocks :(((. It's also overpriced - 1,5 hours for $45 is too much. But again, if you are one the upper deck, you'll definitely enjoy it.

an amazing experience in such a beautiful area. The scenery is spectacular. The houseboats are so cool. The boat trip through the canyon is the best.

My parents took us to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area way back in 1968. Recently I have been back 6 times in the past 12 years. Always something new to experience. Whether you go out on a houseboat stay at one of the local hotels or camp in the campgrounds it is a beautiful place to experience.

Took our boat out on Lake Powell...most marvelous scenery, clean water and well-market channels. It was early in the season (mid-May) so we boaters weren't bumping (literally) into each other. Would highly recommend NOT going during peak season.
