Made this a to-do on my teenage grandson's April vacation. Neither of us had kayaking experience, but that wasn't an issue.
Our guide, Blake, was excellent. He was very conversational during the tour, telling us about the Lake Powell history and other interesting things. We got to hike up to the top of one of the rocks. It was amazing to see all this up close. The water, against the multi-color rock backing, looked fantastic.
We did the half-day Long Rock tour, as we weren't sure if the full day would be too much. Turns out, it was perfect for us. We both
enjoyed the kayaking much more than we thought. Thanks Blake and HCK! Thumbs way up!
