What an amazing place. Would never believe I’d see a place like this and especially in the states. We fully enjoyed the canyon and the tour. Our tour guide Kevin was excellent. He was like the energizer bunny rabbit. He had a wealth of knowledge and he didn’t rush us thru the tour. He was amazing with his cell phone camera skills. He used our cell phones to capture some of the most amazing pictures we ever seen. Kevin made our tour a great experience! Thanks Davina and Lester

Be sure to make a reservation as early in the day as you can. Rumor has it the canyon tour can back up as the day goes on. The check in folks were a little abrasive but kept the line organized and moving. We got there when instructed and were actually put on an earlier tour since there was room. Our guide - Dakota - was very informative about the canyon and helpful with photography tips. He also took pictures of our group for us. He kept our tour group together and moving within the canyon. The group ahead of us had some stragglers that were slowing us down - why you want to be on earlier tours since I'm betting this problem compounds as the day goes on. There are some steep steps and narrow spots so just be aware, The folks in the gift shop were extremely helpful and nice. Definitely worth the visit.

This is a must do tour when visiting Northern Arizona. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the canyon history and made great suggestions on taking pictures. There are numerous stair cases and it’s a decent walk, but not overly strenuous. The desert was pretty hot, but cooled off greatly once in the canyon. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

We went's with Ken's tour on a Thursday last week at 12:30 PM. We had a reservation...there were many people waiting for a possible no-show, so if this is on your bucket list make sure to reserve. But the "tour" was overcrowded, jam-packed into the slot canyon. People are so busy taking their endless photos that you really can't just enjoy the natural beauty of the place. Honestly, folks, the professionals have taken plenty of pictures far better than you can do it.... take a few with you in the scenery and then put the cameras down! We had to make it to another appointment and were told that the tour would be no longer than an hour, but with the massive crowds (including a busload of Chinese toursists right ahead of us) it was more like an hour and a half, so be warned if you are on a schedule. I know these companies have raised their rates recently and don't seem to care that the crowds are so terrible --- seems a little greedy to me, and I didn't understand the point of having a guide. Just post some ushers along the way in case someone gets claustrophobic That being said, it is an incredible sight and worth going to.

Very crowded but the young informative staff were great.
A must do when in page it’s located only 5 mins from town.
