Stayed 2 nights. This place was built in 1956 when they started building the Glen Canyon Dam so the workers would have a place to stay. It is an older establishment with 1950 to present decor, Our swamp cooler went out during the first night, but Tom had it fixed early the next morning while we visited Horseshoe Bend. It was very clean. Bed was softer than ours but comfortable. Well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, seasonings, & towels. Washer and dryer were free to use between 9-9. Located near Safeway, Wal Mart, restaurants, and site seeing.

Miss. Sherry, it was a pleasure having you two over the Independence Day weekend. Again we apologize that your cooler failed late Saturday night. As you found out, Tom keeps a supply of everything for the kitchens to- well the coolers. When you find your new ‘home’ comfortable, clean and stocked, we feel we have succeeded. Thanks for sharing with us about Texas.

We spent two nights at Debbie's Hide A Way last week during our trip to Arizona and we loved it! After moving around the state from hotel to hotel, it was a comfortable place for two nights to relax and enjoy Lake Powell. The place is not fancy, but the owners have taken great care to provide for the needs of its customers. We stayed in a three bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our 18 year old son and 20 year old daughter to have their own rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor patio provided a fun place to hang out at night and play games (it was charmingly lit with little white lights). One of the best things was having a washing machine because we had traveled lightly in order to avoid checking luggage on our plane. They had thought ahead and provided things that you would not carry with you, such as coffee and detergent. Tom and Tony gave us excellent suggestions on activities and places to eat in the area. The hotel was in a convenient location close to restaurants and a grocery store. We enjoyed visiting the Lower Slot Canyons, renting kayaks, and taking a pontoon boat ride on Lake Powell. This was a wonderful, laid-back atmosphere to end our vacation with. We would definitely stay there again.

Hello Summer: We are quite pleased Debbie’s was “A Great Place to Stay” for your family. As you found, your suite was large & had everything and the patios allow for a time to relax and enjoy nature. Since we enjoy the Page/Lake Powell area, we try to share with our guests the points of interest that have meant the most to us. It looks like our 'to do list’ worked for you also. We are happy to give you the service we would like to receive. Thanks for stay with us at Debbie’s!

We travelled to Page in early June to visit the slot canyons. Most of the hotels were booked up and we are so glad we chose to stay at Debbie's Hide a Way. It was perfect for what we wanted which was a quiet place to relax during a tour of northern Arizona. Hotels seem very expensive in Page and we rented a one bedroom apartment for less than what most hotels charged. We went to the nearby Safeway (3 blocks over) and we cooked in the apartment each night. Though the apartment is not particulary luxurious and somewhat dated, it was well maintained and clean.

There are some great extras such as a washer and dryer that guests can use at no cost (they even provide the supplies!) and we were offered wi-fi if we wanted at check in. The manager, Tony, was very helpful about all of the local attractions. The apartment had a flat screen TV with cable and the kitchen was well equipped with older but functional appliances. We can recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Room Tip: Room 109 was next door to the laundry room.

It was a shame you could not stay more than two days. We truly appreciated your soft, southern accent and friendliness. We are not brand spanking new, but we make every attempt to have the cleanest property we can! Debbie tries to guarantee you will always have everything you will need in the Kitchen. We replaced all the TV s with HD flat screens this spring. We are here for you to make your visit the most enjoyable possible. Thanks Mark.

This place is not posh, so don't think you will be experiencing cutting edge interior design. But what it lacks in decor it more than makes up for in hospitality, space and functionality. We stayed in a single suite and had a spacious living room with a Lazy Boy, a private bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, a fully stocked kitchen, a generous bathroom and plenty of space to spread out. It was a great place to relax and recover after 5 days on Lake Powell. Tom was very friendly and helped us get oriented and know where to go and what to do in Page. We really enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Room 111 is conveniently located next to the laundry room

Posh: for well off people: elegant, fashionable and expensive…. OK, Bill Gates didn’t sleep here, he stay in the A Resort in southern UT. We were sold out that week. He’ll be back. Hospitality, spaciousness, comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchen, generous bathroom, what more do you need? You can always find Tom for the best information and tips. Thanks Tenkon, come back and we will show you and the young Lady another enjoyable stay.

Stayed over in Page for two nights during our two week journey around Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. Booked Debbie's for two nights, and was not disappointed. It is not your five star hotel, so if that is what you are seeking, go somewhere else. It's like a hotel lost in time. We had a three bedroom apartment which was very clean and served our purpose well. Full kitchen allowed for us to eat supper in one night, as well as eating breakfast in. The money saved by eating in a few times more than offset the additional cost of an apartment vrs. a hotel room. Washer and dryer too. The owners were very helpful about place to eat and see in the area. Very quaint mom and pop place, that is well worth the few extra dollars, as long as you are not hung up on five star accommodations.

Debbie's is clean, comfortable, and roomy. Our kitchen was well-stocked, and conveniently adjacent to a clean laundry room. We also enjoyed the outdoor patio and its firepit and grill. It's within walking distance to a Safeway, plus many restaurants. It's not fancy or luxurious in the five-star-hotel sense, but it's a great family place to relax, cook a few meals, and have some space.

Patti, we are pleased you & your family were able to relax and enjoy life. You are correct, we don’t have travertine and Persian rugs; our suites are much more like home - clean, comfortable and roomy. After being on the road for days or on a boat with a handful of kidos, our suites make the perfect place the unwind and regroup. Thanks for staying with us.
