“Going back next year”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

Perfect for our family reunion. We all were able to stay at one location and still have the privacy of our own rooms. Cooked, visited, played, went on outings and all "kids" ranging from 2 to 65 (ish) had a good time doing their thing. This was a great home away from home. Staff was more than accommodating and friendly. Don't be worried when you pull onto the street and see pink-The hotel has everything we needed, was comfortable and the pink just makes it the unique place it is.

Room Tip: the 3 bedroom suites have plenty of room for larger families.

We just returned from a family reunion held at Debbie's Hideaway! It was so perfect for our family! We rented all but one of their units and we had a great time, the back "yard" is so accommodating for all of our activities and we loved all the kitchens and everything stocked in them! What a great place and we have even discussed returning next year! The owners were helpful in planning stuff and I think they were helpful to all that called with questions. The manager was very helpful in getting problems solved!! As other reviewers have said, don't expect luxury but it is great for regular people that want to have a "home away from home!" The kids had a blast using the back area for all games and running and everything kids do!

Stayed here for 1 night. As others have wrote its a bit scary when you pull into the road and first see the PINK building, BUT don't panic. The place is very good value for money. Our bungalow apartment was excellent, it was clean, tidy perhaps a little dated but this added to the character to the place. My wife and I have no problems to report and were very pleased indeed with our nights stay. Its not a 5-star place but if like us the main thing is cleanliness and quiet etc then you wont regret staying here for sure

Wow, we were worried when we pulled into the street...the neighbouring blocks seemed much run down and rather scary, to be honest. Did we book in the wrong neighbourhood, we asked ourselves? Well, as it turned out, no we didn't...we had nothing to worry about!

We were greeted by one of the friendly owners at the office to the rear of the main motel, who gave us information about the area and even mentioned that we could receive a discount on our groceries if we shopped at a certain local supermarket. We had booked a 2-bedroom apartment for 2 nights, and were soon guided to our accommodation across the street.

There were plenty of parking spaces outside. Then, we opened the door to our accommodation. We were amazed, especially our two teenage sons...it was like walking into a time warp! Of course, we didn't mind this at all, in fact the boys were very amused by the 70/80's style of furniture!

The apartment was clean and had absolutely everything possible (if not more) that we might need, including extras like chocolates on the table and toiletries in the bathroom which included a hairdryer. The air cooling system (I can't remember what it was called) caused no problems at all. All the appliances worked well, and it was nice to have such a large fridge and cooker for once! The garden also suited us fine...nice & quiet with a BBQ, table and chairs etc.

However, perhaps the owners might like to think about replacing the mattresses on both beds, to ensure a good night sleep for everyone (all four of us felt this way), and maybe put up nets or blinds for the windows for both privacy and security. In addition, although the owner explained the situation with the Wi-Fi at the 2 bed apartment, and did his absolute best to solve the problem, it would be fantastic if it were resolved and available trouble free, especially for frustrated teenagers wanting to communicate with friends on the other side of the world!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Stayed in the one bed unit. It was so spacious, perfect for a toddler. Cute little street of old motels. Very quiet. The units are old, and the backyard is pretty eccentric, but really enjoyable. We used the BBQ and outdoor setting in the evening. Free laundry, and it dries on the line in an hour! The bed linen and towels could do with an upgrade. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were little chocolates on the table for our arrival. The manager spent a lot of time with us recommending places to go, and answering questions. Great authentic experience

We have booked a two-night stay at Debbie's Hide a Way based on the reviews on Trip Advisor.
If you are looking for a hotel with all the bells and whistles, please do not come to Debbie's Place. You will be disappointed. But if, like us, you want a comfortable place with a well-stocked kitchen with all necessary appliances, a good functioning bathroom, a large living and dining area, a cozy bedroom with plenty of storage space, then this is the place for you. Debbie's is hidden modestly on a side street in Page, close to restaurants and shopping, a street aptly named "the street of little motels". A fairly nondescript pink facade belies a lovely garden on the back of the units (1 or 3 bedrooms), with plenty of parking, with nice arrangements of benches, tables and chairs with sun protecting umbrellas (you need them here), little melodious water pieces, BBQ, trellises. Tom, with his understated sense of humour, helped us with finding the location of the unbelievably gorgeous Antelope Canyon, also with a reservation for a boat trip on Powell Lake, finding the famous sunset spot, directions to a nearby supermarket. Besides all Page has to offer, we especially enjoyed sitting in the evenings on a bench romantically hidden by climbing plants.

For a party of 6, this appartment was perfect for us. After some time in hotels, we really appreciated the oppourtunity to cook for ourselves and also do a bit of BBQ. Which we did, every day. Spent our evenings in the patio, and for the rainy night we spent it inside, watching telly.
This place fit us perfectly, eventhough the couch in the living room should not be used as a bed..
Owner was helpful and fun, he also brought us firewood for the outside fire - very cosy when it got dark outside.
The appartment is very old and needs updating, but everything works - frigde, oven, air con, bathroom.
Parking is easy, and only a couple of blocks from bars, Glen Canyon-tours and shops. We had a nice stay!
