“Listen to the locals!”
Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

We drove up the North Shore on the Harley and arrived in GM just after 11am starving. The places down on the harbor wouldn't serve breakfast and a local pointed us to this place. Just perfect!! The food was so good, huge portions and just the way I would cook a big breakfast for hungry guests in my home. Yummm. Probably the kicker was the people who owned and worked there, so nice, entertaining and funny. Like eating breakfast with fun n funky relatives. Eat there for breakfast!!

“Great Breakfast for the Fellas!!”
Reviewed 1 March 2014

This is a great spot for breakfast with the family or out with friends. If you need upscale decor and hip lighting, this isn't the place for you!! This is an old style cafe just how the locals like it. It is reasonably priced and you get great value in food and service. This is a great spot on the North Shore for breakfast. Been there many times.....will be back many more!!

“Trail Breakfast”

Great portions! And food to keep you moving throughout the day of outside activity. Bring cash or check as they keep costs reasonable by not accepting credit cards.

“South of the Canadian Border Not Mexico :)”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

We had a good breakfast here before getting on the road. Don't think Mexican by the way, they mean south of the Canadian border. Nothing special, but they do standard really good. Hashbrowns are thinly sliced and very good.

“Perfect breakfast.”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

We have been eating breakfast here for 20 years. It is the perfect spot to stop, either before heading into, or out of, the BWCA. You can get a great, old fashioned, hearty breakfast, for a very reasonable price. It's not fancy, but good. It seems to be a local favorite. Staff is very friendly and usually has a great story to share.
