We had a very tasty lunch here recently. A cream cheese and tomato soup with half of a Naniboujou sandwich along with a Black Cherry Cream soda. I had trouble finishing my meal as the half sandwich was quite large. The service was very friendly and prompt. The dining room was beautiful and made the stop for lunch even better. I thought it was slightly pricey otherwise I would have given it 5 out of 5.

Visited 20 years ago and we were the only people. Always wanted to go again and we finally made it back with our kids. We were very surprised at how many people were there. The service was great and the food even better. The restaurant is amazing you can't imagine how it looks the history is very interesting. It is a place you drive by but so worth the time to stop. The wild rice soup so great. Nice little store with very unique things. Wonderful place to visit. Thanks so much.

We were just there for lunch, but it was so delicious, I would definitely go back again for breakfast, dinner or maybe for a weekend. I had the Hiker's combo, a tasty cup of creamy chicken and wild rice soup and the Naniboujou sandwich, maybe the best sandwich I've ever had! I would heartily recommend it!

Ya gotta know where your going to find this very unique hotel and restaurant. But once you get there you can't believe your eyes or your taste buds. We stopped by a couple weeks after Labor Day. Blessed with a warm, beautiful day and no traffic and no crowds we couldn't believe our eyes when we stepped into this incredible lodge. Missed breakfast (but we're going back in a couple weeks for their Sunday brunch) and had an hour or so wait until lunch started. Perfect opportunity to scout the place out. It's got to be one of the most comfortable and serene lodges we've ever been to. And the dining room is a national treasure. History everywhere. Wonderful people willing to answer any and all questions and tell you about the lodge and surrounding territory. The rooms are relatively inexpensive and well appointed. Altho' we didn't stay we were invited to take a peek. And the pervasive serenity just kinda reels ya in quickly. Took a walk around the grounds and ended up down by the lake sitting in a couple of adirondack chairs just relaxing and talking. In no time it was lunch time. The BBQ chicken salad and Brule burger were done to perfection. Ended up spending almost three hours that day and can't wait to go there again.
