I can't say enough good things about Moosehead, Kit & Louise really make you feel like part of the Moose Head family. The summer staff is great - great manners and hospitality. The horseback riding trails are incredible with awesome views of wildlife, the Tetons and Snake River. Three delicious meals are served daily with cocktail/social time before dinner. Looking forward to a return trip.

From the beautiful view to the family owned ranch. I was priviliged enough to work an entire summer at Moose Head and the memories will forever be with me. A magnificant place for a family to go with activities and wonderous food, facilities, and staff. Truly a great place to go!!!

This was our second trip to Jackson Hole, but first time at Moose Head. We will never stay anywhere else in Wyoming. It far exceeded our expectations. We took our family of four with kids of 11 and 8 years old. All of us had a blast. You don't have to be a horse lover to enjoy it but don't be shocked if you leave loving horses and the outdoors more than ever. Just ask our 8 year old! The owners and staff welcome you like family and treat like it the whole time. They leave nothing for you to worry about. The cabins are very well prepared and all of the facilities add to the atmosphere. Bring your appetite too! The food is amazing! We would highly recommend Moose Head to anyone and often do.

Moose Head Ranch is a little piece of heaven. The owners and all staff make you feel like family. The horses are wonderful, but it's still a marvel to this English-riding, pampered-horse-owning family how those horses survive the rugged and harsh conditions of a WY environment. Our east coast horses wouldn't last a day!

The wranglers and cabin girls are beyond polite and engaging. All are college kids (mostly from the south), so they're able to participate in intelligent conversation with guests. Helpful for those long trail rides when you're on the horse that constantly wants to be in front of the wrangler's horse! I do agree with one of the previous guests/reviewers that the stereo-type of male wranglers and female cabin girls is archaic. I have no doubt that many of those lovely young ladies are as good if not better riders than some of the boys.

The meals are delicious and plentiful and provide yummy options for the few of us guests who don't eat meat.

It would be a special treat to sink into a soothing hot tub at the end of the day after a long ride. And for those who's riding muscles aren't as forgiving as they used to be, a masseuse service would likely be very popular. Hopefully, the Davenports may consider such options for future guests.

We will most definitely return ... again.
