My husband and I stayed at 909 Sweet Surrender the first week of April. We came to hike in the national park. We felt the value was excellent. We shopped at the Kroger store and stocked up on simple breakfast, snacks for the trail, and dinner items, which kept the budget down and kept us out of the craziness of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The view of the mountains was beautiful and we enjoyed this while eating dinner on the porch. The cabin was cozy and the perfect size for two. The surrounding area was quiet. At check in, the staff at Chalet Village were efficient. We had no issues while staying here so we had no further interaction with the staff. I would choose Sweet Surrender any day over a hotel room in the high traffic zones of Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.
