We were looking for good ice cream, and saw this "creamery" listed as #1. It is in the nice section of Gatlinburg, in the quaint and pretty Village. It is not really fair for this place to be #1 in the restaurant category... it is a TINY shop that sells coffees and ice cream. I didn't recognize the brand ice cream. I will agree the gentleman behind the counter was VERY nice, shop clean and charming, but the ice cream was average. I would not go out of my way to get ice cream from them again. As ice cream enthusists, we couldn't find good ice cream in Gatlinburg. Kilwin's was better, and everyone knows Ben&Jerrys. We were hoping to find a homemade ice cream somewhere, but now I think this area is not known for ice cream! Certainly pay these nice people a visit, but #1 is setting the bar too high, unfairly against larger food establishments.
