We have stayed at Mountain Vista for the past several years! The property is always clean and the location to downtown is great. Girls at the front desk are awesome. The condos are very roomy and well stocked kitchen. Love the king size bed and jacuzzi tub...also washer and dryer in condo! We stayed in Condo 310 this year with our two boys and their families each renting condos.
Although they are a bit pricey and don't offer much in the way of discounts...we will stay again.

Room Tip: Don't get poolside if you want it quiet...pool closes at 10pm but people are in it longer!

The property and location are great. Spacious Condominiums and great amenities. Great place to stay; we will be back. The beds were amazing and the decorations were homey. The condo was stocked with just enough kitchen equipment that cooking meals for the group was easy. The location is great if you are in good shape you can walk to the strip and enjoy your day; otherwise, drive your car go across the strip and find parking on River Rd and enjoy your day. We also caught the trolley and few time back. The customer service is severely lacking. Upon check-in you are not given any tips on amenities offered or where/how to unload or that you will be lock out of the condos entirely once the office closes and the only entrance is through the parking garage elevators. Be sure to read the two books in your condo; this will provide plenty of information. However, the list of games is not updated. For our entire stay the staff was unfriendly and uninformative. Overall a great place to stay.

I travel often. Some for business and some, like this time, for pleasure with the family. We took a long weekend here and it seemed like the right features for the price that we were looking for. We were completely floored by the level of accommodations this place offers. Now, this is not a hotel, it is a rental condo, so if you want room service and spas, this probably wont due. For us, we needed a spacious, clean suite with room for 5 and we got that and more. The rooms are huge. We could have lived here comfortably. A nicely appointed modern kitchen, a large living room with fireplace and a masterfully large decked trimmed out in log cabin like timbers. The second bedroom had 2 twin beds with extremely comfortable beds and well made, quality linens and spreads. a nice TV and VCR and real dressers. The second bathroom was spotless and large. The master bedroom had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on and sheets that envelope you like clouds. A whirlpool tub in the master was really special, though a bit strange to bath in your bedroom. The master bathroom had a large glass and tile shower that makes you want to shower all morning. And, even though daily housekeeping is not a standard feature, a full size washer and drier made it unnecessary. The pool is small and you have to walk across the parking lot to get to it, but a trolley stops at the lobby regularly. The room was spotless. Cleaner than any place I have ever stayed. I felt at home and, for a town built on tiny roads and crowded together shops, this much space was a major luxury. I hope to bring my parents here in the summer with my family so they can relax and enjoy this home away from home in the Smoky Mountains.

Room Tip: If you are a smoker, get a room near the elevator or you will be walking a bit for those outdoor bre...

We had a my wife's best friend from Costa Rica come visit us and we wanted to really show her a great time. Somehow I was blessed to have heard of this location in Gatlinburg. we have stayed in many many hotels and cabins in the Gatlinburg area over the years and NONE of those locations would have been what we were looking for. Thank God we were able to get Condo #211. Everything was so clean and comfortable. It was very easy for my wife and her friend to step out onto the Parkway and shop all day as myself and my grandson enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that we could ever need. Large bedrooms with a Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom along with a shower. There were three large TVs which allowed us to choose what we wanted to watch. Great balcony ! I am just looking forward to our next trip to this Condo location with Family or Friends.

Awesome awesome, hated to leave.

The consistent are fully stocked with supplies and have the most comfortable beds you could ever imagine. Everything was clean and the decorations were beautiful. Only negative thing is the view from our balcony was of a nasty hotel pool next door and not of the gorgeous mountains. It is a short walk to the parkway, only about 5 minutes. There is covered parking. For security, the only way to get in the elevator from the garage is with a room key.

Just got back from a weekend trip and I must say that Baskins Creek is one of the nicest and cleanest condos I have ever stayed in. I was very impressed with the grounds of the condo, from landscaping to the actual creek than runs beside the condo. The building itself is well maintained and the pool area is great!

Check-in was very smooth and only took a couple minutes. We did find the elevators to be slow, but nothing that could ruin the trip. The hallways leading to the rooms are inside and temperature controlled. The condo itself was very clean, nicely decorated and seemed to be new, even though the condos are over 5 years old. The fireplace was a nice touch and we used it on chilly nights. The condo does have 2 windows that can be opened to let in the fresh mountain air.

The one thing that made this unit perfect was the comfy beds. I have yet to find beds that sleep better than my own personal bed in a condo/hotel. What a nice surprise to be able to sleep in comfort!!!

Im guessing all condos are the same, but we stayed in room 414 and the full kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook/bake with. There is 3 tvs in the unit and the master bedroom is huge and includes its own jucuzzi tub!

Room Tip: We liked the poolview better, but others say the mountain view is better. Just make sure you resear...

This was our first stay and will not be our last. Everything about #406 was great. The staff were very courteous and helpful. There is no access to the rooms from the garage without a room key, which give a more secure feeling. The unit was exceptional in every way. The kitchen was fully equipped. The linen was clean and crisp. The bathtubs and showers were also spotless. I looked for mold and dust but found none. The gas fireplace is a great addition and really added to the atmosphere. The balcony is spacious and the view is welcoming. The shower water pressure is perfect as well as the water temp because a hot shower is outstanding after snowtubing. The close to downtown location is just right. We prefer an upper level room but I don't think this would matter here.
I have nothing to compain about with this unit.

Room Tip: All even room numbers face the pool. Parking is 80% covered because you park under the condos.
