We enjoyed staying in this small cabin. It is located 10 miles outside of Gatlinburg. Unfortunately there were no restaurants nearby. If you plan to stay here, plan to cook dinner in the fully equipped kitchen!

“The pictures DO NOT do this cabin justice!!”

My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at Cottage on the Creek! This place is BEAUTIFUL! It far surpassed my expectations. Yes, this cabin is right on the road but you don't even notice. It is nice and private. So easy to get too!! Loved the ease of getting to and from our cabin. I have stayed many times at the top of the mountain and although it is beautiful it is a little heart stopping so we decided on a low level cabin. The stream that runs past is beautiful. We spent most of our time on the porch or in the hot tub while we enjoyed the sounds of the creek. The inside was spotless!! We can't wait to stay here again!!

“Very clean, great service, everything you need, nice honeymoon”
Reviewed 31 March 2013 for a stay in March 2013

Our stay at the cabin on the creek was very pleasant. We were on our honeymoon and stayed 2 nights. When we pulled up to the cabin we noticed that it was right on the road, so we were a little disappointed in that. You could walk 5 steps from the porch and get to the road, There was a lot of traffic coming through during our stay, but since it was backed up to a hill, the back porch was very nice, minus the sound of the cars. The sound of the creek made up for that. The best part of the cabin was the cleanliness. I did not see a speck of dirt in the whole place. It had EVERYTHING we needed. It was nicely decorated, and very comfortable. We loved the little details including the old spool that was used on the door knob on the closet, and the small stained glass window in the kitchen. On our first night we accidentally locked ourself out of the cabin because we went out the back door and had the screen door locked. We hung out with the employees at the pizza place down the road while they got in touch with the owner. The employees were very helpful and the owner met us there 15 minutes after we got ahold of him. He was very nice and did not seem to mind that we bothered him. The game room was very nice, and the Wifi worked perfectly.
The fireplace was kind of disappointing, it was more like a light. The hottub was our favorite part even though it was about 30 degrees when we used it. We would stay here again, and we will definately be using Cobbly Nob again. The only thing we would have changed is since it was our honeymoon we would have liked to have been of the road, and pulling out of the parking spot felt very dangerous. Overall we had a very nice honeymoon in Cottage on the Creek.

“It was everything it was advertised to be!”
Reviewed 31 December 2012 for a stay in October 2012

I searched for MANY months and reviewed literally hundreds of properties/photos of cabins in the Gatlinburg area and decided on this property based on the photos and TripAdvisor reviews. My main focus was the bedroom and bathroom facilities...I'm always particularly concerned with cleanliness in these areas. To my great satisfaction, the photos were truly accurate and every bit as wonderful and representative of the cabin. It was beautiful and VERY CLEAN!! The master bed was comfortable and very large!

The first night I became aware of the only issue that would prove to be a challenge...and it was that the master bedroom backed up to the main road and I could hear all the cars driving by, which made it difficult to sleep peacefully. However, everything else was so great, that it wouldn't prevent me from booking again.

It was great dealing with Peggy and she made the whole reservation process flawless!! She was pleasant, efficient and handled the transaction with great professionalism! I would definitely stay at this property and recommend it to anyone.

“Perfect Anniversary Cottage”

My husband and I recently stayed at Cottage on the Creek for our 35th anniversary trip. This cottage was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. It was far enough from the crowds of Gatlinburg to be peaceful and relaxing but close enough that we could be in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Seiverville within a few minutes. It was lovely to be able to open the back door and hear the mountain stream that ran right beside the cabin. The cottage was furnished beautifully and felt very homey. We enjoyed the pool table in the loft and stayed up very late having our own competition tournement (which I won). We also enjoyed reading the history of the cabin along with other stories of the area. We had a wonderful time at Cottage on the Creek and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds.

“Perfect Place for a Quiet Getaway”
Reviewed 8 August 2012 for a stay in August 2010

My husband and I wanted a quiet stress-free long weekend and we ended up at Cottage on the Creek. We got exactly what we were looking for. The cottage was located right off the main road of the "neighborhood" making it easy to access, but it was surrounded on 3 sides by a small creek and woods making it private and more secluded. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes making it convenient to stay in for meals if we wanted. There was a grocery store with a movie rental store and a liquor store a few minutes away so we were easily able to get what we needed for a nice romantic weekend. Downtown Gatlinburg was also only about 10-15 minutes away with plenty of things to do including an aquarium, and many restaurants to try. The finishes in the cottage were modern and clean and we really enjoyed the hot tub. There wasn't great cell reception in the cabin itself, but we actually enjoyed (and needed) being disconnected. Cottage on the Creek will always hold a special place to us because my husband proposed to me on our last morning there...we definitely plan on returning in the future!

“Relaxing & Peaceful Getaway”
Reviewed 29 April 2012 for a stay in April 2012

My wife and I stayed at Cottage on the Creek for a weekend getaway and had an absolutely wonderfully relaxing time. The cabin was extremely clean, well decorated, and updated with all modern amenities included WiFi, and cable TV. The wraparound porch was very relaxing with the sound of the babbling creek on the side of the cabin. I told my wife many times that this is the type of place I could retire in.

I would also like to say that the booking process was painless and Peggy was a pleasure to talk to on the phone. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!
