Owner description: The collection consists of more than 20,000 Salt and Pepper Shakers from all over the world. A labor of love of collecting for more than 30 years. See the amazing variety of animals, vegetables, people and other colorful shapes, and the creativity of all the artists that created them. Great fun for all ages!

This is great to check out all of the salt & pepper shakers she has collected. If you don't want to pay the $3 to get into the museum just check out the gift shop!

The museum was lots of fun. However, we took a group of Girl Scouts on the premise of using the $3 admission credit in the gift shop to allow each person to walk out with a small souvenir. We expected to find shaker sets for $5-6, thinking we would add a few bucks for each person and leave with a gift for each person. Unfortunately, the cheapest set is $13, so you have to spend an additional $10 per person just to walk out with a shaker set. And the sets that are $13 are really cheesey sets, like the ones you'd find at a gas station for half the price. The ones that were cute were $25 to hundreds of dollars. It would be nice if they offered a simple S&P museum shaker, something cute with their logo, that you could take home for just a few dollars, but that's not the case. So, when you go, just expect to spend the $3 to view the museum and don't count on seeing value in the gift shop credit.

Very quaint and unique museum of salt and pepper shakers! We stopped in because we have never been to such a museum but totally worth the stop! I found the cutest little owl shakers to go with my owl theme. Must stop!

This museum claims to be the largest S&P shaker museum in the world. (I’m not sure I can imagine much competition in the condiment container community, but you never know.)

What started as a simple collection turned into a 20,000+ set menagerie across 22 years be the museum’s curator.

They have numerous categories that span the range of possibilities – there’s literally something for everyone.

Stop by the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum and see What’s Shakin’!

Googled "things to do in Pigeon Forge" & this popped up. So glad it did! Just a fun, quirky stop in a hurried life & vacation. I DEFINITELY recommend spending THREE DOLLARS & the 45 minutes to hour this takes. PLUS the $3 admission is taken off any purchase you make at the end of the visit! We bought the cutest piggy & froggy shakers! BEST money we left in the area. ;-)
