“A great place to stay in Gatlinburg”

This is a very nice facility, close to downtown Gatlinburg shopping and restaurants. The resort is very family friendly, and the staff is very nice and helpful; the rooms are extrememly clean and well decorated and comfortable. I highly recomend this resort.

This hotel was nice, clean, convenient to the strip and the staff was friendly. Had to wait a little white to check-in, but other than that it was a nice stay. Would stay here again.

Going strictly by the wonderful reviews on TripAdvisor, we booked two adjoining rooms for our recent three night stay in Gatlinburg. This place more than exceeded my expectations! The layout is perfect for two families, as we had two adjoining suites, one 1BR and one 2BR. You can keep the foyer doors open to access both suites, which worked out perfectly for us. The suites are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, making full meal preparation quite easy. The hotel has numerous activities and amenities, such as indoor and outdoor pools and spas, an activity room with daily classes set up, bonfires, special events in the lobby, etc. The hotel is located within walking distance of the main road in Gatlinburg, which is very convenient. We loved this place, and will look forward to our next visit!
The only drawback I can even note is that there is no daily housekeeping or linens, but this was not a problem for us.

Room Tip: Our room was on the ninth floor and faced the city. It was perfect!

Our room was wonderful, it was decently priced, very roomy and clean, and had a great view. The only change I would make is offer room service, and maybe update the bedlinens.

We stayed 5 days end of Sept 2011. Clean, spacious, nice kitchen, fireplace. We enjoyed the up to date selection of country music they played outside while we relaxed in the nice spa. We overlooked the creek below us which was nice. The master bedroom is huge & has a really nice bathroom. We got a good deal for our 2 couples in a 2 bedroom villa. I do recommend this place. Staff was helpful & NOT pushy about the timeshares they offer. 3 things I didn't like - super high shower head, I'm short so not good. Tall people will love it. :) Low water pressure & for as nice as the rooms are, the mattresses are NOT comfortable. I expected pillowtop beds in a place like this, but they are far from it. Still was a nice place to stay....

My husband and I stayed at this property during a 3 day weekend in October. We enjoyed being within walking distance to everything on the main street in Gatlinburg. If you have ever been to Gatlinburg in the fall, you know how terrible the traffic can be! By staying at this property, we were able to avoid all the traffic jams! We stayed in a 1 bedroom king villa. It had a nice kitchen area along one wall. It was not the big kitchen with breakfast bar that is shown in many pictures, but was still more than we needed with a full size fridge, microwave, stove, sink, dishes, etc. The bathroom was also nice, but a word of caution: the tub is a spacious & deep jetted tub (which is great) but it's hard to get in and out of, especially when showering. (There is not a separate shower.) I would be worried if my parents or grandparents had to climb in and out of that tub. Overall, a nice room with the amenties of a hotel, but the decor gives it the rustic feel of a cabin. Will stay there again.

Room Tip: The 3rd floor is actually the ground level. Choose the 5th floor to be high enough not to hear the p...

This is the first hotel I've stayed in in a while that I will truly recommend to others. My husband and I stayed here 1 night before and 1 night after our hike up to stay at the LeConte Lodge. We were really trying to avoid leaving our car parked at the trail head for 2 nights. We made it known to the front desk attendant and a maintenance man who happened to be at the desk that we were needing a taxi or some sort of ride to the trail head (about 3 miles away). The hotel doesn't have an official shuttle, the G'burg Trolley didn't go all the way to the trail head, and the limited taxi options were sketchy. While I don't know the names of the 2 staff members we were talking to at the desk (approx. 10:30 Wed, 9/21/11) they ultimately found Misty for us. I'm not sure what Misty's actual job is at the hotel but on this day she was a great "shuttle" driver. She was nice enough to drive us in her own car. This way we were able to leave our car and luggage safely in the hotel parking garage. (Employee, PJ, was also nice about the parking when we checked in on 9/20). We gave our names, phone #'s, etc. to the front desk as a safety measure I suppose for both ourselves and Misty. On the drive she was very professional, friendly and offered to pick us up after the hike was over. I offered her cash in the amount I knew the taxi would have cost and she didn't want to take it. Another key point is that in making small talk on the drive there about the hotel, she had only good things to say about it. Some employees might have taken the opportunity to complain about work. We caught another ride back to the hotel with other hikers but Misty and other staff were glad to see us when we returned. The hot tub was PERFECT on Friday evening after the long hike. The outdoor area with the pool, hot tub, fireplace, and grills is well maintained and nicely landscaped. Not the kind of place your likely to find a teenage group, ball team, etc. Having the washer/dryer in suite was an unplanned bonus. Having a large, homey, condo-like place to stay instead of a run of the mill hotel room was ideal for pre and post hike. We tried to stay an additional night because we were enjoying our relaxation there so much but they didn't have anything available. If you stay here, the Bear Land General Store a short walk down the street is excellent and affordable for breakfast. The hotel's gift shop was also well stocked with basic groceries. The seasonal decor throughout the property was very well done. I'm suspicious that if we'd been staying for more than 1 night at a time we'd have been given a sales pitch for time sharing. Getting a sales pitch would have gotten a big thumbs down from us but I have to say that if a resort ever could convince me to do a time share, this one might be it! We will certainly look to stay here again when in Gatlinburg.
