Don't expect a grand playground or lots of elements. It is a one modular slides and wall and some gears kind of setup for the 2-5 year old set. Picnic tables and fishing creek are positives in summer I imagine. My 3 year old enjoyed it this the four stars.

We love everything about this city park. Our grands all love the fish farm and the the playground, as well as the ramp area. You can picnic and grill there. That's where we go to see the lightning bugs every year.

This is a small park (one pavilion) with covered grill area and a small playground. Perfect for a medium sized family gathering.

The bad news, its nearly impossible to find if you dont know where it is. It's across the street from a Fairfield Inn, but its in a steep valley. It cant really be seen from the street. The sign is so small, you wouldnt see it unless you are walking.
Thats exactly what I had to do after GPS kept telling me to turn, but AFTER I'd passed the turnoff. I parked across the street and walked over to find it.

The park is small, but has restroom facilities, a small playground and a pavilion with a large grilling pit. There are picnic tables overlooking the stream.

THE DOWNSIDE is the pavilion sits against the back fence of the park...on the other side, some kind of fish hatchery project is going on. It smelled like dead fish throughout the pavilion.

My advice; this is a decent location for a BBQ, but dont go on a really hot day.

This a great place for a break from the tourist areas and busy town of gatlinburg. It's close to town and a great park for kids to play free of charge. Also the kids can fish here for free without permit. Great outdoor fun for the family

Good place to stop with kids to take a break between attractions or show. Nice small play ground for young kids. There a creek near by but there sign saying water is not safe and the closer you get to the creek there a bad odor.
