Dined w our three sons. Really like that they take reservations...so much nicer than the call ahead places. The interior is upscale, cozy and quiet. We were hesitant to take our sons but they do well in most restaurants and enjoy trying new things. Our waiter was new and nervous but tried very hard. We all had the four course meal...cheddar fondue, variety of entrees, salads and dessert. Hubby and I had a couple of private label beers that were very good. Our experience was quite good and the food was excellent. My husband wasn't particularly fond of the 'cook it yourself' method but the boys and he loved it. We all enjoyed our meals and the dessert selection was so good! Now, the downside. We arrived at 730pm and left at 1020pm! That's a long dinner! The bill was $215 plus tip. We were aware of the expense beforehand but we did not anticipate the length of the meal. We felt there was too much time allotted between courses and we aren't sure if that s normal or due to our rookie waiter. We sat about 15-20 minutes between courses and everyone got restless as a result. We left very satisfied but felt tired after such a long meal. Melting Pot is definitely a great experience and has delicious food w the uniqueness dependent on you cooking it all. We will possibly return again but might just go for cheese fondue and dessert.

This is the one place where you can get away from the crowds with guaranteed seating on the strip. It is upstairs and over looks the crowd. The Peddler and Park Grill will put you on a "call ahead seating" list but that is the best you will do and everyone else is no reserves.

This is a beautiful and comfortable place inside. I prefer the window tables in the bar area versus the tables in the back with dim lighting.

The items that are brought out for you to use in your fondue pots are great quality and it is a matter of selecting the cooking mediums that you would find the most suitable to your palate. If you do not cook have the staff assist you in your decision.

We had the cheddar cheese fondue (you can't go wrong with that one its so classic). We also did the Coq Au Vin for our entrees which has more flavor than just the broth that is offered free of additional charges. We consumed Filet Mignon, Mushroom Sachets, and Chicken. Our favorite sauces were the curry, green onion w/cream cheese, and the blue cheese. Although the Plum Sauce was pretty good on the Mushroom Sachets. We also enjoyed a French Pinot Noir, BT Seeker, although the majority of their wines were from California.

We left with Chocolate Covered Strawberries that were huge and delicious!

Wife and I ate here on recent trip. Staff very helpful in recommendations. Food is very good, kinda pricey and it does take a while to finish the 4 course meal,it's all about the experience. Definitely recommend. We will be going back on our next trip.

I have been to several Melting Pots in the US. They are all very uniform, and provide a wonderful unique experience everyone should have at least once. That being said I will say you need to be prepared for the bill and decide when/what is best for you. My husband and I have gone to the Melting Pot in Gatlinburg twice. The first time we came we did the "big night out" got salads, cheese fondue, main course (meats), and of course the chocolate fondue for dessert. With tip is was around $100. The last time we went, we went during happy hour (4-7PM, Monday-Friday) and cheese and chocolate fondues were $5 per person. We skipped the salads and meats and still left feeling very full and cut our bill by more than half. Enjoy!

Second one I've been to with same great experience. Beats the regular going out to eat deal. Had 17 yr. old and 5 yr. old and both loved it. Variety of combinations to choose from. Best desert chocolate. will go back.
